The whole chapter is speaking of Israel while in Babolonian captivity which took place ~586 BC. The psalmist is simply speaking of the promise of the destruction of Babylon; it has absolutely nothing to do with abortion. Nowhere in the Bible does it say or imply that it supports abortion.

Also, I'm just curious, how can you claim to be both pro-life and pro-choice?

@coolvideo28 What part of the first amendment do you fail to comprehend. Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. It is fairly cut and dry. And thanks to the incorporation doctrine, This provision applies to the actions of state and local governments (including school districts). You can't have it both ways. You can't demand for the freedom of religion and ignore the prohibition against the endorsement of religion.

When the Constitution was ratified, there were 10 states with established denominations. 2 were Congregationalists (an update from the Puritans). The rest were Episcopalians (Church of England). Taxes were collected to support the local established church and fines issued if you failed ot attend. If you belong to someone else, you were in trouble. This and the European experience is what lead to the freedom of religion!

It is only been recently when we no longer identified by denomination, but by religion instead.
