  • Doces lembranças da minha infância... Quantas vezes esse desenho animado me fez gargalhar - e me lembro da forte impressão que a música me causava. Donald Duck RULES!!!

  • Genius entertainment, the guys who made the music and cartoons were the best.

min 5.21 pause it if you are a musician you will laugh the way those guys saw music, that was the renaissance of cartoons.

now days its really a robot without feelings

  • Now, THAT is a cartoon. Absolutely brilliant and I loved all the little nuances. Bring back the old cartoons! The animation is superb and it's a work of art in it's own right.

  • @Klkytle i felt the same way just now :D

  • Poor Donald. All he wanted to do was sell ice creams and play with the band. BTW, I noticed he has a white tongue in this episode.

  • Nothing makes you feel better than old school Disney when you have a cold.

  • @rab3raby thanks for agreeing you are now my friend

  • Maybe your are right skull candy

  • Yeah, this was when cartoons were worth watching now cartoons are a horrible piece of poo

  • Thanks by kids watching this cartoon they have become donald trolls, donald is the character who makes people be trolls.

  • This is when Cartoons were WORTH watching

  • 過渡期らしい趣がいい

  • Old school Donald is the best troll!

  • Saraaaaaaaaaaa :d

  • I always appreciate the old cartoons and how they would incorporate some awesome classical music and instill a sort of love for classical music for kids in such a age :) I'm pretty sure I love a lot of classical music now from influences of hearing it as a child.

  • Donald Duck invented trolling.

  • @dudelamak lol you stole that from someone else's comment, but donald is the true troll

  • 3:55 - 4:08 :)

  • Gonna love the classics.

  • I've always hated Mickey, Donald is my all-time favorite <3

  • @DriftingNitro He is the troll of trolls. :)

  • ok ahaaha i remeber this but seeing this again make me know that mikey mause was the baat one always

  • linda caricatura

  • Thumbs up if you think this is better than Avatar!

  • @MrDantanic

    Which one?

  • @rockinsparzy105 The 2009 live-action one by James Cameron. The so-called Highest Grossing film of All Time. Features "groundbreaking cinematography", which I doubt. Set in the future, a version of "Pocahontas" on an alien planet. This cartoon is WAY better than Avatar because of the way it combines music and a disaster to create a spectacular sequence.

  • I never thought Mickey's size is bigger than Donald.

  • Hotdogs?....All I see is icecream!

  • Donald Duck invented trolling.

  • @KaBlammers

Not only that but with cool face.

  • 6:23 These chairs are running fast!

  • I just love this!!!

the music to mickey's moves.... AWESOME!!!!

  • m e e n c a n t a MICKEY MOUSE

  • KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

the old ones where THE BEST!

  • I wish we could go back in time when cartoons were like THIS. Classic Disney cartoons always had this charm to them unlike most modern cartoons you see these days.

  • That's professionalism right there - play right through a tornado =]

  • 1:58 I have that as my desktop now.

  • One of my favorites. This was how I first heard of tornadoes. When my parents tught me that cartoons were fictional, I first thought tornadoes were fictional as well. You would never believe how I was like when I finally learned that tornadoes are real!

  • @Cellmate412162 yeah, and and any other severe weather shown in cartoon shorts, are of fiction...sarcastically speaking :D

  • @Cellmate412162 But the sad truth is: Many people get killed in tornadoes every year.

  • @MrDantanic I agree with you there, although I'd rather go through them than earthquakes.

  • @Cellmate412162 I agree! :) Though I'd personally prefer a tsunami or a solar flare. XD

  • @Cellmate412162 yeah no kidding, i was scared of them for a year when i found out what they are and what they can do

  • @Cellmate412162 I DID THE SAME THING! :-D

  • These were the days...

  • the name of the song at 1:50 AND 6:18 PLEASE?

  • @andy76667 Overture william tell

  • @andy76667 the first is 'Turkey in the Straw', an old dance tune. the second is more of the storm music from William Tell

  • @yaremahista Thank you wery much!

  • @andy76667

1:50 is "Do your ears hang low"

6:18 is william tell Overture,Storm part

  • So that's how a storm sounds like. :O

  • the competition and actions are so bad, the music turned out great, lol...

  • ha i wish our band watched the conductor as well as this band watches mickey

  • Top Comment ~ mickey got trolled at 2:18

  • what's the name of simphony 5:22 ?

  • @marvinsk8ful it's part of the William Tell opera. There's a storm in the libretto, and this music is supposed to mimic the darkening skies and first drops of rain as the storm arrives.

  • The first disney I ever watched. :) Atleast that I remeber

  • Who knew "Orchestra Hero" was more hardcore?

  • Anybody know the name of the oriental tune at 4:00 ? Thanks !

  • @topheecheesecake Commonly known as the Snake Charmer Song

  • MICKEY AN ASSHOLE

  • I remember this was on a mickey mouse vhs i had. I cant remember what its called. Anyone help?

  • @benedictsuratos mickeys greatest hits. i used to have the same vhs

  • @benedictsuratos Silly Symphonies, I think. :)

  • i love how you cant understand anything donald says xD

  • i love old school donald!

  • The Disney Channel used to show their old bread and butter. They have fallen a long way.

  • Donald Duck, not Daffy!!!

  • These are the best versions of any these characters. They just look better, and it feels better. Old cartoons, most of all Disney, had such heart in them.

  • this is so idiot this beautiful piece of music is interrupted by daffys trolling

  • @MrTato99 You're obviously either mentally disabled or just a complete idiot. This is DONALD DUCK not DAFFY DUCK. Donald is Disney. Daffy is Warner Brothers. How could you get them mixed up, one's white and one's black. You idiot.

  • @avalanchesuperstar OK i apologize but I even dont care I do not watch disney or looney toons either and you didnt get what was I saying, donald was interrupting/trolling mickey with Turkey in the Straw and I cant hear this beautiful piece of music(William Tell Overture) I think you put the video just to watch this idiotic cartoon(I prefered to watch other things) and not the music

PS: I dont care about people calling me a troll or retard

  • @MrTato99 That's a mean thing to say. This cartoon is nearly 80 years old, yet you're calling it idiotic. There are plenty of William Tell Overture videos in YouTube. Listen to those. And if you feel a need to badmouth cartoons, find videos of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Spongebob Squarepants and badmouth those.

  • @avalanchesuperstar How do you think I found this video?Duh, anyway you re right Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Spongebob Squarepants suck ass (the new Spongebob Squarepants ones suck not the original ones) ok but i think this cartoon is idiotic, maybe you dont, but i dont freakin care

  • @MrTato99 This cartoon wasn't meant for little kids. Back in those days, they would show a cartoon (like this), a comedy (eg. The Three Stooges), a newsreel, and then the main picture. So, let's say you were going to see Dracula (the original movie), you would watch one of these before it. Cartoons weren't always for kids, people started assuming that once they started being shown on TV. Mickey used to be a wild, violent, hilarious character, until new Disney fucked up and ruined him.

  • @avalanchesuperstar OK thanks I didnt know THAT much bout disney and i agree disney fucks up a lot of stories: for example Cinderella wasnt for children it involved adult themes (for example the stepsisters cut parts of their feet so the shoe could fit in) and disney wouldcome up and screw up the story with 3 movies who didnt have anything to do with the original story

  • daffy be trolling

  • Tgis showed in a vhs with a whole lot of other episodes what was it called?

  • I USED TO WATCH THIS ALL THE TIME <333

  • Wow! Looks amazing for 1935! :D

  • As a kid I always thought for some reason, the cow's HAND is hanging on her flute instead of her glove... O_O

  • 2:55 - 3:10 rofl XD

  • beautiful, energetic, nice.

  • That jacket is obviously too big for him

  • It's the first mixtape ever.

  • We call that commitment

  • what an ending, maan, this is truely epic epicness.

  • It's an oldie but a goodie

  • Man I love the musical work here!!! All that was written and performed by a real band. This level of top quality was normal back in the 30s. Now we only see this kind of brilliance only once in a while sich as in Pixar's "One Man Band" (definitely inspired by this!).

BTW: is it just me or is there a level of genuis, joy, wackiness and energy which would be material for about 10+ short cartoons today?

  • please visit my blog about drawing blyscreative.blogspot.com

  • i remember Always watching this onmy cassete tape....now theres mickey mouse play house on dvd......i like this soooo much better

  • Wow, Mickey was one angry asshole back then XD

  • Love it

  • The real mickey mouse! not this high-pitched "lets do it" faggot we see nowadays

  • What I like about this cartoon is that everyone continues to play their musical instruments despite being swept up by a real tornado. Reminds me of the film Carry On Up The Khyber where everyone kept eating despite the fact that the building was being bombed and shot to bits. Also, Mickey's so mean to poor old Donald, breaking up his flutes like that. He's quite good at playing it!

  • I should recommend this to my band teacher to show in class ^^. A nice way to start off the school year.

  • Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Disney? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Why you forgot this an instead give us a shitty pop stars whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy );?

Oh wait... Was because the Money -__-

  • 5:20 THE STORM!!!

  • i love the creativity of the good ol days of Mickey Mouse! :D too bad it aint like this today

  • Wow, Mickey Mouse looks so old, or should I say so young.

  • @TheAtlanticDan

    >furry animals

Stopped reading there and realized it's a /b/ro troll.

  • LOL! My music teacher played this at school and the whole class said "MICKEY MOUSE!? You crazy or what!?" Of course only babies watch Mickey Mouse BUT LOL the tornado! Seriously! And you gotta admit the back up flutes is defintly crazy! xD

  • i like that period of mickey mouse, still have that black and white look and they dont really speak beside a few characters like daffy

  • @Alxmir23 whoops lol not daffy,donald

  • @Alxmir23

    Who's Daffy?

    There's no Daffy in this.

  • @WolfieboyMachi lol i know i made a mistake,i meant donald

been watching too much warner brother merry melodies

  • @Alxmir23

    Lol. :P

I never like the WB cartoons, tho. :(

  • @WolfieboyMachi they are not by favorite but some of them are pretty good and have nostalgic value

i only like about 30 of them

its pretty much the same with disney

    im more fleischer,like popeye,betty boop

and singles like christmas comes but once a years, greedy humpty dumpty,an elephant never forget and somewhere in dreamlands

most of them are damn sad like christmas comes but once a year and somewhere in dreamland

oprhans which toys breaks and start sobbing etc

  • @7:38 Time Compression?

  • Pp8

  • @TheEnduranceGuy - This is from 1935. I have some of the original cartoon board drawings since Walt willed some of his stuff to my grandfather who was a student of his.

  • Well if you can imagine this by seeing the side face of Mickey the curved lines between the hair and the face that resembles an image of number 3..yes just like a heart shape...again look both the ears you can clearly see the contour of number 3 facing side down ...so well...it's clearly says that Mickey has this number 33..means in Freemasons is the highest rank...that's why Mickey was born 18 of November = 1+8 = 9, November = 11, so therefore 911 will emerge? Beware for your children fox!!
