@Betachow a cat will be much more wary to a ferret than a smaller animal, plus ferrets are hunters so it wont be much of a target for cats. You can even bring them up with cats and such things alike.

I badly wanted a ferret but my parents said it was just too much responsibility, if you get a pet Ferret you should be prepared for something as major as a pet dog- Or it can involve even more.
I want a ferret really badly, but I already have a cat that has learned how to open cages. Our last hamster lasted 10 minutes.
