Alicia Keys' Harlem Nocturne vs. As I Am Intro!!!

I am sorry, I made an egregious error...I meant that AS I AM sounds a lot like Frederic Francois Chopin, and the song was called Notturne (nocturne) in Do # (C sharp) minor, posthumous. I was thinking about Gustav Mahler when I was commenting the first time. Sorry.

From an artists standpoint, both were very good. However, in terms of critiquing, AS I AM was my obvious choice. Harlem Nocturne is a little bit too busy, too many instruments comepting for sound and a vocal included makes it too loud for my taste. Whereas, AS I AM is very simple, quiet, no vocals, and all of the instruments were in perfect harmony. I believe AS I AM came from Gustov Chopin's Nocturnne in C Minor, at least the introduction of the song sound a lot like it. Great composition wins.

i think both of them are great intros for two amazing albums, she is wonderful at playing piano, my fav would be as i am, just because it has a bit more of a beat to it, but harlem nocturne is also a very good piece ;)

Harlem´s nocturne? The melody at 2:00 is the same of Chopin Nocturne phostumous in C#minor. Please... listen it. I like Alicia Keys but this song is a bad copy of one of the most beautiful Chopin´s work.
