  • Thanks to this supposed "Patron Saint", the only snakes to be feared by the English is that fucking gimp, the Viper! Fuck that shit, we need to bring back the snakes!!! I'm going to start a smuggling/breeding campaign, for the sake of Ireland!! They're also very nutritious food source, snake head, tail, soup etc etc...Bobby Sands would have gotten all the necessary vitamins he needed, saving his life...another example of how Snakes could have helped the Irish people..

  • He'd be the first to tell you, Compton may aswell be a tourist resort compared to anaconda infested woods!!! Samuel L. Jackson is another motherfucker who couldn't handle the motherfucking snakes on the motherfucking green pastoral plains of Ireland!!! Freddy Mercury, musical legend and a God among men, was himself killed by a trouser snake!! Caught the HIV venom...so if these badass legends tried and failed against snakes, am I meant to believe a nation of Jamie Oliver loving fags would be?

  • There's no one more responsible in Irish history for the Brits colonial rule in Ireland! Why the fuck did he get rid of all those snakes!? Was he some Margaret Thatcher loving, undercover black and tan!? The Brits would never have invaded Ireland if there were poisonous snakes! Have you ever seen Anaconda!?! You think the Brits would wanna fuck with that sorta shit!?! Ice Cube, the Nigga with Attitude, needed the help of a woman to kill just one of those things!

  • Um...read his letters. Patrick's letters and Confessions of Patrick - which he wrote before he died. He wasn't Irish. He was kidnapped by Irish Pirates and kept as a slave in Ireland. His own words.

  • wwwDOTthewarningsecondcomingDOTcom

  • @thecrusades2 if u believe everything on the internet then you are an idiot, st patrick was most likely from wales or england, even the church isnt sure so how would u know,he wasnt born in ireland but he is irish, he lived there most of his life and loved the irish so u could say he changed his nationality. stop trying to claim things that are irish for scotland he has nothing to do with scotland get your own. st patrick's day is one of the most celebrated holidays in the world cuz he is irish

  • The origins of St Patrick are not certain & there is uncertainty even in the Church over his origins, it is most likely he was from Wales & was British, he preached to the native Gaels who were originally from Iberia not British.

The Gaelic Church brought Christianity to many parts of Britain & Europe & founded many monastries which developed into modern European cities.

The Gaelic have contributed greatly towards European civilisation especially during the dark ages.

  • i have to do a report on him and im not even catholic

  • his fathe was from scotland

  • "He was always giving tanks", so he armed the Irish?

  • Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig le Sasana!

Dydd gwyl Patric Sant hapus o Loegr!

  • PRAYER OF SAINT PATRICK

Christ be with me, Christ within me,

Christ behind me, Christ before me,

Christ beside me, Christ to win me,

Christ to comfort and restore me.

Christ beneath me, Christ above me,

Christ in quiet, and in danger,

Christ in hearts of all that love me,

Christ in mouth of friend and stranger

  • Half Med, half Celt. I think Saint Columba spun the tale of the Loch Ness Monster to promote later Christianity? Thanks for a learned reply : )

  • Dear Born Again Pagan Celts let’s Celebrate a Reveres Paradox,

on March 17th let’s PROMOTE CELTIC PAGAN LIBERATION DAY! If your are proud to be a Born Again Pagan Celt then wear all green and silkscreen on your underwear CELTIC PAGAN PRIDE for the Hill of Tara

  • what did St Patrick say when he drove the snakes out of Ireland?

Are you all right in the back boys

  • Was Patrick from Scotland? There was a good teledrama with Suzannah York about 10 or 15 years ago. Malcolm MacDowall and Patrick Bergin, too.

  • @Noodles37UK He was from Wales

  • @TylerMaple3009 Thanks, man. I'll look into it. William Wallace's surname is said to originate from Wales.

  • nice

  • @jmoonsuede He didn't really drive snakes out of Ireland, snakes are a metaphor for the Pagan Druids.

  • St. Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland. SNAKES!

  • Where can I get the background music which is played from 1m28s?

    Does anyone know?

  • This video omits many things we know about Patrick. Richard Bennett is an ex-priest who travels around teaching of the real historical Patrick and how it "came as an utter shocking contrast" to what he had been taught as a boy. Romanists have been beguiled! Learn about the real historical Patrick, and the real Lord Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible--not the fake Jesus of Romanism, the long-haired, blue-eyed Pagan nailed to a Roman cross.

  • The real LORD Jesus Christ, God hath raised him from the dead!

  • @Islandretreat Get a grip.

  • @Islandretreat Christianity in Britain can be traced back as far as the third century. The bishops of London, York and Lincoln were present at the Catholic Council of Arles in 314, and signed the acts. [Mansi 2:476-7].

Saint Athanasius, in the opening of his "Apology" against Arias, also alludes to certain British bishops who participated at the Catholic Council of Sardica. [PG 25:249].

  • @OrthodoxVideos, There are indications that Christianity had reached Britain before the third century. Celt/British pastors were present at those councils because it was not exclusively the Latin church but rather the Universal Church. Romanism reared its ugly head in southern Britain (modern day England) when Augustine arrived from Rome in 597AD.

  • @Islandretreat. what are your sources showing a Christian presence in Britain before the third century? The earliest missionaries to Britan were Orthodox/Catholics --they were under the bishop of Rome, but this is a far cry from modern day Romanism.

  • @Islandretreat, by the way, Augustine died in 430.

  • @OrthodoxVideos I think they mean Augustine of Canteberry not St. Augustine of Hippo

  • There are many differant storys on the life of saint patrick. some say he lived to 77 others say that he lived to 110. some say he was english. but in most cases patrick may of been a scottish high lander descent. but the story really never ended. and patrick found a continuos and a life after his death. also a chance to live again on this earth. his problem was his greatness and his faith became stronger.

  • Patrick was born in Roman-occupied Britain, kidnapped and enslaved in Ireland (where he grew close to God), escaped to France where he was trained as a priest, and served as a priest and later bishop in Britain. He went back to Ireland as a missionary, bringing his faith to his former captors.

So, no, he wasn't Irish, but he spent over half his life there (as a slave aged 16-22 and as a man until his death at age 77) and clearly had a great love for the people of Ireland.

  • Religious comments on youtube are so eclectic ;) In the lifetime of St. Patrick, there was no division between east and west, and thus no distinction between Catholic and Orthodox. The schism didn't occur until 1054. There were unique characteristics of the church in Ireland, and discussions of when Easter should be. But the monastic tradition of Ireland has much in common with the monastic tradition of the east, as well. In St. Patrick's day, there was one church and one faith - Christian.

  • Patrick was know for driving the snakes out of Ireland. The only problem is that Ireland never had snakes in it. The snakes referred to, were The Celtic Pagans that were indigenous to the island. He lead a massive Roman Catholic army onto the island and forced the people to either convert or be executed. Just a bit of history for everyone.

  • @KingMKLA

If by 'massive army' you mean 'small band of men who were priests or in training to become priests', then yes, that is correct. But it was not by force of arms that Patrick converted the Irish.

His methods were to get the permission of the chieftain and build a community of Christians in their midst - he established churches. It is true that everyone was pagan when he arrived, and many tribes had converted by the time of his death. He was isolated from Rome, not importing armies.

  • The headline should read "St Patrick - Apostle to Ireland - just my thoughts

  • Saint Patrick, pray for us sinners!

  • Patrick was born in Banwen, Wales - the son of Roman parents

  • Two authentic letters from him survive, from which come the only universally accepted details of his life. When he was about 16[4] he was captured from Britain by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Ireland.

    St Patrick was British.

  • No he was Scottish.

  • @darnel605 ...Patrick was a Brythonic Celt ( Welsh ). from Yr Hen Ogledd (English: The Old North) what is now northern England and southern Scotland. Scotland as a nation did not even exsits until the Dál Riatans, arrived from Ireland from the late 5th century onwards !

  • Wrong.

  • Born in Dumbarton, Scotland, in the year 387.

  • This is an excellent documentary on St. Patrick's life. What he managed to do with Ireland is nothing short of a miracle. He had such a formidable mission...a lone man trying to spread the message of hope.

  • A saint's Day is celebrated by wild drinking and partying. Hmmm? I think the pagans are winning

  • Honor this saint by being sober. If you have to drink make it wine.

  • 841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

All the Church is saying here in the Catechism is that we want to hold out salvation for all people...even the Muslims. No one wants anyone to go to hell, but unfortunately people end up there.

  • pfff, no they dont! hahaha

just like there isnt 1 single child on this planet who has ever recieved a gift from santa claus, though many will tell you they have

  • Saint Patrick is orthodox....as he lived before 1054!!!

  • @Braduta3 Nope he was Catholic.

  • there was no such thing as a roman catholic then..that is history.

besides, you can be a catholic, but i would rather worship god that allah, mary, a cross, a statue onr any other man made object

    im a saint

  • @MANCKIE Nope.

  • nope what?

  • @MANCKIE Your statements have no meaning.

  • you mean you dont care about scripture only what your pope says?

  • @MANCKIE Your statements are empty.

  • If St. Patrick was Orthodox, then he failed miserably because Ireland became a Catholic nation!

  • He was Catholic and you are a fool.

  • I think he/she means orthodox as in original instead of the actual orthodox faith.

  • you know fighting on the internet is a lot like winning the special olympics even if you win your still ratarted

  • " I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so also should you love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 14: 34-35 How does Jesus love us? With everything that He is.

  • Comment removed

  • Patrick is his own religion, he is savior bless him for eternity. in fact they should call the faith patrickism.

  • Patrick is not savior what a useless comment

  • I love you St Patrick

  • I am Catholic, and I have one question. I want to know why the majority of you are arguing who the first Pope was, what Jesus said, and the criticism of someone's personal beleif. Christianity and Catholicism are nearly the same, so we have Patron Saints, whats your point MANCKIE? Jesus teaches us to love and respect others, and the fact that you call our's false teachers, our leader a sinner, and told us to convert and read the Bible to find out what Jesus truly said is not respect.

  • "Christianity and Catholicism are nearly the same,:

Jesus said he is the way, the catechism says 843 every way is the way. 841 says allah is lord others say mary is the way..the catholic church is the whore.

  • in which verse are we told to cut the throats of beleivers? were in scripture are we told to burn people alive or to cut their hands off for not being idolaters?

catholic heretical church blasphemes God. it calls Christ a liar.

  • i love you st.patrick.

  • Should have used a colours clip, Irlands nature is amazing I have been there.

  • It was required that all masses (regardless of geographical area) to be done in latin, so Patrick being the Saint he is...knew Latin very well. theories are peoples opinions or guesses and the problem with doing that for history is that you could make anything look the way you want it over time. (point in case, idiots who claim Jew deaths in nazi germany were only a few hundred thousands rather the millions it was).

  • Anglican, coe, coi, catholic, etc are all apostate churches. Jesus warned us of false teachers.

I was a Catholic until 2 years ago.

I am a Christian, one of many. We look to scripture for truth. You look to the pope. a sinner for salvation. a heretic that denies GOD.

    Be a rebel my friend.

READ YOUR BIBLE. Find out what Jesus said.

    repent and believe.

  • yea, were Catholic, left cause you didn't understand it nor looked towards the historical truth. Catholics share history to Jesus and are among the only ones. St. Peter (man whom Jesus called te Rock), is our first Pope. theres no dening it

  • "St. Peter (man whom Jesus called te Rock),"

So Jesus declared peter to be God? in scripture the Rock is a name for God.

As is Holy father. ....the term Vicar of Christ used by your anti christ pope also usurps the name of God.

Vicar means replacement. He is not the Holy Spirit.

  • yes, the ROCK to which He(Jesus) would build His Church.

check your definitions as Vicar is not replacement, but one who represents another. therefore the Popes duty is to represent Christ.

  • Rock in the Bible refers to God and only ever God.

The Lord said one thing to peter in the same Chapter...can you read the chapter and tell us what that was?

    "Vicar is not replacement"

earlier popes were called vicar of ceaser and vicar of peter...the vicar of Christ is the Holy Spirit. it is not the popes

  • MUSLIM, pray to your allah

  • Manckie...this is really not the way to go about it. You're only alienating people.

  • no, the catholics alienate people. im just setting them straight.

  • A simple but beautiful message. It speaks into our materialistic and anxious age. Thanks be to God.

  • Mankie, brings interesting Biblical passages...how bout the one clarifing that he who lives within the law will be judged by the law. he who lives out side the law will be judged outside the law? besides that, I have never heard nor seen a single document by the Church declaring that anyone will be in heaven or not. if you heard someone Catholic declare anything opposite to that, it is out of personal opinion.

The only person capable of taking anyone to hell is themselves.

  • if you are going to quote from the Bible catholic...provide verse.

you are the one that thinks you are saved if you do everything your pope says, not me.

i follow the lord, not a german guy in rome

  • correction, that small number of extremists, who actually do not believe in nor follow the islamic tradition, just wants to destroy you, not all of humanity. so re-read the Bible to understand that it is about life in general, about what is Truth.

  • islam...is all about conquest. there is to be no religion but the religion of mohamemd.

  • heretic? fool that is the person who tries to confuse the people and feed false information, where as I provide information available to anyone. newadvent(dot)org try it out, you'll learn something about truth.

  • not only do you lack basic human anatomy knowledge, but you lack world History. Christianity was brought to the Welsh & Britain as well as the people of Scotland as the Roman Empire expanded through out the region. Monks travel better than armed soldiers at times. as for what you state, back it up!

  • what? then tell me fair whom ever, why would there be a mountain range named after the Saint himself? why is there a monument dedicaded to his life within the town he was never born? Besides an Island is easier to conquer than the entire inland of Scotland.

  • ok first off MANCKIE your wrong and if your christien you should be ashamed of your self for saying such things they dont beleve in alah and catholics read from the same bibile as everyone else that beleves in jesus just because they practice diffrint dosint mean they have diffrint belefes and if you arint christien then your just ignorint like begorrahspawn

  • "catholics read from the same bibile as everyone else that beleves in jesus"

Catholics follow the pope as head ofthe churhc. the pope says his lord is the lord of mohamed. ALLAH

Allah in the koran said he has no son. He allows muslims to theive from christians, rape, kill, torture etc etc. this is not the Lord of the Bible

    islam denies the son.

Jesus said he who denies the son denies the father. Islam denies GOD, as does the catholic church

you have tradition i have the Bible.

  • ever heard of Abraham? From him tow kingdoms, of which the first branched out into Catholicism/Orthodox.

  • wrong the catholic church came about when the pope in the roman see tried to say he was above other sees.

such as Alexandrian, Jerusalem, Constantinople i think the other was Damascus.

in a kind of mafia type way. it is nothing to do with Abraham. then again you are a catholic. so you wont know much about Christianity

  • "Go die"

only a muslim would want someone to die. ( catholics never read the bible )

    "you simpleton"

jesus said if you call someone a fool you risk hell.

like i said. your pope worships allah.

    allah is your god.

  • like response?

  • the catholic church is evil.

chatechisim 841 states the god of the catholics is allah.

  • your very slow aren't you...there is no seperation of God, nor anyone who tries to define Him. There is as always has been one God to which all of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism worships. None of which accepting nor allowing acts of evil as well as frowning up on any soul who does.

  • "one God to which all of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism worships."

The catholic church is not a christian Church. it worships allah the god of mohammed. This allah has no son. this allah says nobody should be worshipped but him.

you worship allah. where as Christians worship our Lord through his son Jesus Christ.

Islam says there is no trinity, no holy spirit. no son.

You worship allah. that is your choice. Yours is tradiotn of man. mine is the Holy Bible.

  • The Catholic Church is Christian and followers Christ directly, St. Peter is the Rock, whom we built up on. Why else would there be Jesus in every Catholic Cathedral smarty? Who developed the first Bible???the Catholic Church. Catholic(dot)com learn historical facts instead of opinion based on hate.

  • "St. Peter is the Rock, whom we built up on."

The term rock comes from many Verses where Christ tells us he is the rock and the cornerstone.

Yet the catholic church in all its blasphemy says PETER is the rock? LOL

"Why else would there be Jesus in every Catholic Cathedral smarty?"

Jesus is in heaven. he is not on a cross. you worship mary than jesus...your catechism says who you worship.

  • we do not worship Mary, fool...we ask her to pray for us as we pray with her to God. and about the before reference of Peter being the ROCK, Jesus spoke to him about being the rock to which Jesus builds His Chruch on; that the gates of hell would not destroy or harm it. And no dur that Jesus is in Heaven, Im talking about the statues and Crosses that are within the Cathedral.

  • "we do not worship Mary"

if you pray to mary..you worship her. try reading scripture to find out.

    "fool."

you risk hell. saying this to a Christian, but as a Catholic you dont believe in judgement do you.

"Jesus spoke to him about being the rock"

God is the rock m8...lol not Peter. Jesus spoke of peter being satan. Get the hence satan. nowhere in scripture is peter said to be pope of rome. lol

tradition of man....or word of God.

  • we do not pray to Mary, we ask her to pray for us. (i.e. "pray for us sinners")

Peter was called to be the rock to which Jesus would build His(Jesus') Church. as well as declaring Peter would be incharge of the keys to the gates to Heaven (hence the flag symbols"

  • "we do not pray to Mary"

so when you pray to Mary you are not praying to mary?

why don't you see sense m8?

what are the ten "promises" of Mary to every catholic that prays rosary?

God forbids praying to the dead, Mary cannot do anything for you. she was in need of a saviour as much as you.

    after death comes judgement.

You pray to God and God alone. read scripture. The Lord commands you to in the Bible

  • how ignorant do you have to be to not understand what is said? WE DO NOT PRAY TO MARY. for any and all dead within Heaven (as Mary IS in Heaven) they know exactly what is giong on here. WE DO NOT; ask for grace from Mary, nor gifts, nor do we thank her. WE ASK HER TO PRAY FOR US. you really think you can't pray in Heaven, you really think Mary would not pray for us? THe Mother points to the Son. ALWAYS.exactly like the wedding

  • "WE DO NOT PRAY TO MARY"

"we ask her to pray for us"

what can the dead do for you? show me in scripture where God contradicts himself. God shares his power with nobody.

"you really think Mary would not pray for us?"

Mary is DEAD. necromancer is an abomination unto the LORD. You are to pray to the LORD your GOD. only he can answer prayers. saying hail mary and PRAYING the rosary to MARY is an abomination to the LORD.

    HE HATES IT.

i have made a video on this subject. wake up m8

  • is there any scripture to dictate we may not ask people IN HEAVEN to pray for us?

furthermore it is not necromancer as we do not seek black magic nor a sense of the future. dur

  • the jews pray for the dead GOD is alive and he is still working in this world we have the sacraments to help us as well

  • @MANCKIE You are weird.

  • Galatians 4:16

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

  • @MANCKIE Great quote from a great Catholic.

  • who was a catholic? lol

  • St. Paul of course.

  • hahaha oh help him lord.

Paul was not a roman catholic. he was a follower of Christ.

the roman church is full of blasphemy.

google chatechisim 841. allah is your lord. mohameds false god is your lord.

    Jesus is LORD.

    the pope is a sinner..and a liar.

    google it.

  • St. Paul was one of the first Catholics.

    Thank you Jesus!

  • lmao

Paul would know not to venerate any icol or idol which is a very big part of romanisim. he knew that mary was a blessed woman, chosen by the Lord. He knew that she was not to be worshipped, nor could the dead answer or pray for the living

they were dead..and had been judged

    He knew Jesus as Lord

Unlike the catholic church which sadly whores itself after every pagan faith. incorporating anything into itself. 25th dec for instance, easter eggs. un biblical preisthood. and the catechism

  • @MANCKIE

    Nope.

He is a great Catholic and a hero. Converted by Jesus himself.

Anything else you would like to try to stick the the proverbial anti Catholic wall?

    Nothings stuck.

I welcome you and all who do not belong to the Catholic Church.

The True Church Jesus Christ made is and always has been the Catholic Church.

  • Jesus said i am the way the truth the life, no man cometh to the father but by me.

yet the profession of faith of all catholics state that they worship the god of mohammed.

he never said venerate images. he never said i am a wafer, he never said celebate preisthood, he never said pray to the dead, he never said any beleiver is above a non beleiver, the spotles rebuked people that bowed before them.

yet your pope is treated like some king. people kiss his ring and treat him like he is God.

  • the roman church is nothing to do with Christ, nor are its traditions.

this is the truth. you are tlld to search the scriptures and if your church doesnt match up..

    GET OUT

none of the apostles were roman catholic lol. roman church didnt exist for a long long time..even at that time it was filled with blasphemy. but now it is like the whore we read of in revelations.

    get out, read, study.

    start with catechism 841

  • Said what Martin Luther whom spoke to the devil did to pave the way for people like you

  • Gospel of Thomas found in 1945 is more authentic than Paul. Google.

  • No it isn't. And it wasn't "found" in 1945. It was known to the early Church Fathers who declared in unauthoritative and not a true Gospel.

  • Exactly.

  • Nobody trusts the Church fathers, Rome edited the bible and it's haunting them.

Yus'hua Christ strictly says IN IT that to seek and seek the kingdom within, and not to stop until you find God- Gospel of Thomas is TRUTH. THE PINEAL GLAND IS THE STARGATE.

Meditation is the key according to Thomas! Matt 6;22 is 3rd Eye meditation.

    Do your homework!

  • @ANDROID697 Most scholars and historians agree that the Gospel of Thomas was written over some 100 years after Christ died and not by Thomas. The early church fathers were concerned with only eye witness accounts(you need reliable primary sources for any historical analysis), and discounted the gospel of Thomas for the above mentioned reasons.

It was probably written by a gnostic sect who read about Thomas in the other gospels and turned him into their "patron saint"

    Hope this helps.

  • BORING!

  • "Who developed the first Bible?'

you dont know this? it wasnt people that worshiped allah such as your pope

    "the Catholic Church."

your bible is caled "the douey rheims" it is the catholic bible. it is very different to other bibles. based upon the alexandrian manuscripts.

"learn historical facts instead of opinion based on hate. "

i am a Bible believing CHRISTIAN, you follow a lie and tradition. I follow Christ

  • Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

How can you pass through the narrow gate if you deny him. How can you call your Lord a Liar?

why is it your heretical church says anyone can go to heaven if they are good enough?

Isaiah 43:11 I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

The catholic church will damm you to hell. it has killed more christians than even islam.

  • hello saint paddy.. sorry bit the snakes have returned... politicians, bankers, speculators etc.... christian Ireland me ARSE !! and I'm Irish.........

  • a hero of the faith who brought the gospel to a pagan nation.

  • Unfortunately the Catholic Church claimed him... And the rest is history... Outside of that he is a Saint in Christian and Non Christian hearts...

  • Of course other Christians consider him a saint too, since there was only one Church without schism when he lived. Not sure about the "non-Christians" bit... I think they're missing the central point. Since they've turned his day into something commerical, just like has happened to Saint Nicholas.

  • Patrick operated independent of Rome. Rome hadn't exerted control over the Celtic Christians until centuries later and in doing so pretty much killed their tradition. It's a myth created by Roman Catholic apologists to say Patrick was a Roman Catholic. He was a Christian evangelist. Period.

  • Herretic

  • and where did you find that lie?

Look, the Catholic Church existed when St. Patrick lived, as it did when St. Peter was Pope, as it did when Jesus was alive. No, it was not always known under that name, but to distinguish Truth from lies (like yours) the title was established; meaning universal.

  • "Apostle of Ireland, born at Kilpatrick, near Dumbarton, in Scotland, in the year 387; died at Saul, Downpatrick, Ireland, 17 March, 493."

"The combination "the Catholic Church" (he katholike ekklesia) is found for the first time in the letter of St. Ignatius to the Smyrnaeans, written about the year 110."

quoted from a very factual website...website will be given up on request.

  • here here.

Druids were the leaders of the pagans belief and until Patrick came to Ireland they would still make sacrifices to their pagan god. As most societies in those days would have before christianity arrived and preached of the one true God....

  • Catch a grip. Patrick was sent to Ireland from Rome.

  • St Patrick started theCeltic/Culdee Church.

The Roman Catholic writer O'Driscoll admits:

"The Christian Church of Ireland was founded by St. Patrick, existed for many centuries free & unshackled ... & differed on many points from Rome. From the days of Patrick to the Council of Cashel was a bright & glorious career for Ireland. From the sitting of that Council to our own times the lot of Ireland has been unmixed evil and all her history a tale of woe." Views of Ireland, Vol. 2, Page 84

  • St. Patrick is my favorite churchman out of the entire Christian cannon. I respect him because he accepted his actions and was willing to face death to better peoples lives.

  • At least some respect for St.Patrick, rather than all this parading down main streets dressed as dragons and snakes,on St Patrick's day.

    thankyou,Well done.

  • thanks very much padraig bless you. liam molloy

  • St.Patrick was a Romano-British Celt! Probably from Wales or Cornwall. His real name was Maewyn Succa and he took the Latin name Patricus!Le Fhelie Padraig!Slan agus Bennacht leat!Slainte!

  • he was a good man jesus is my hero so is st patrick if he came back to the world today and with the way things are now he would have a fit . i come from a irish background

  • Wow, Amen! The early believers give me hope. God was really with him.
