Yeah but the Bible contains errors, failed prophecies, scientific errors, etc. It is NOT the word of God--- the word of God would not contain errors in it. However the Quran contains no errors, has furfilled prophecies and scientific accuarate statements.

Mr. wood whole argument about satanic verses ignores the temptations caused to jesus by a devil according to the bible. Does he concludes that all the temptations that jesus had conclusively proves that God forbid jesus had no revelations, or that it conclusively proves, that jesus although was sincere but devil possessed him, it only for brief interaction he saw the devil interacting with him. One can always create conspiracy hypothesis with jesus aswell

@Rehanjaveds It is to be noted that my comment is not to insult Jesus, but if you want to go on extreme in conspiracy of devil, then those can easily be made against jesus like many jews do. We can say although he was sincere but had remained unconscious of it during his whole career, but on brief occasions he saw devil tempting him, and God knows what extreme temptation he induced during those moments.

So I believe that some times Satan may try to oppose prophets but it fails. Satan cannot win in this battle, although it may make failed attempts for a brief moment, with prophet. Second the revelation of prophet Muhammad was very distinct from how a possessed man see things. If he was riding a camel for instance when the revelation came the camel could not bear the burden and used to sit down in respect of the revelation. revelation sometimes accompanies a peculiar sound

And there are other distinct experiences which made these revelations unique from ordinary experiences. Thats why it was impossible for satan to interfere with revelations. Furthermore Quran is used to make satan run away and this is known through experience of muslims. How could David explain the event of miraj, when prophet ascended to heaven and He talked with God directly. Therefore these universal conspiracy theory wont work.
