how do you keep the jumps so smooth? do you put like carpet or something over the top? Im new to building jumps so...

its a mix between what kind of dirt you use (clay) and how you pack it (flat head shovel) oh yea and make sure you tarp it because the rain is good for building jumps but once there establishes you want them to kind of dry out so that they harden. if you dont use clay 9 times out of ten over time it will crumble out. plus clay is easyer to shape

@TurtlesLikeYou well at the trails i dig at we dont have clay so were stuck in the middle. but the best thing to do i can tell you is invest in a watering can. because when its drying out and dusty you will deffidently need that thing man!

@xevlids Well you mainly need dirt and water and a spade. You make a little pile of dirt then you whack the shit out of it on the flat side of the spade till it looks like these then you wet them and then you use a broom and sweep the excess off. im not 100% sure lol
