I was little when this came out and just the sound of the music was scary and sinister sounding. I didn't have a clue about drugs so I thought he was having symptoms of food poisioning from eating cold turkey. LOL! My Mother couldn't get me to eat turkey after this song came out. Methadone in controled quantities helps a lot... dropping it is hard, but you will recover your things and life and when you drop it it will be in a much more controlled environment... That's what I've been doing for the last 3 years... 3 in 3 weeks a lesser dose... in a clinical... I've recovered my things, my relationships, my looks, everything is becoming better :)

I was little when this came out and just the sound of the music was scary and sinister sounding. I didn't have a clue about drugs so I thought he was having symptoms of food poisioning from eating cold turkey. LOL! My Mother couldn't get me to eat turkey after this song came out. Scared the hell out of me. But later on it certainly stuck with me and I never tried drugs because of this song. I quit smoking and that was horrible enough!

As if cold Turkey would be the only hell with poison,but that's only the Purgatory! the worst thing about heroin is that it's a substitute for the endorphines that the brain synthesizes itself to give us the feeling of happiness.If you substitute it with heroin the brain stops making it on it's own and you lose the ability to feel happy without poison.The brain is able to find relief,but if you take heroin too long,you miss the final train and that's it!a further reason to fall back again!

Methadone in controled quantities helps a lot... dropping it is hard, but you will recover your things and life and when you drop it it will be in a much more controlled environment... That's what I've been doing for the last 3 years... 3 in 3 weeks a lesser dose... in a clinical... I've recovered my things, my relationships, my looks, everything is becoming better :)

I cant speak for everybody but I have battled my own demons and heroin simply is not the answer. its an ultra short term fix that has seriously negative longterm consequences.
