Nice stomach! How much beer to you drink on average? I workout a bunch as well (elliptical and weight training), but if I drink a six pack or so over the weekend there will be a slighty noticeable difference to the tone of my abs.
I'm like you. Beer is one thing I can't give up, but it seems like I'm constantly playing catchup and therefore can never actually increase the tone of my abs.
I think you've got it right: exercise for fitness and health aspects is better than for weight loss or whatever. As for me, I hate going to gyms or running for the hell of it: my ideal exercise is spending time backpacking. I do it for myself and only because I enjoy it; the hell with what anyone thinks about how I look or what size clothes I wear :P
I refuse to give up chocolate too :) I only eat dark chocolate though. I can't stomach mass produced chocolate bars anymore. I went on the south beach diet, so no carbs for a while, lost 30 pounds. I really need to do it again as I started gaining recently.

A friend of mine does personal training as a side job, he said he'd train me if i needed it, well, i need it so i might take him up on that, i could document my training in my vlogs, Ohh theres an idea.
Anyway, I need a bacon sammich now, thanks for that.
