Great classic from Lata. One of her best. I totally agree that Lata should start appearing in movies with her sister Asha Bhosle. Lata is outright the Queen of Queen Diva's and that's coming from someone who is not Indian. English Asian and proud. However, great songs and melodious artists defy boundaries, like Lata, Asha and Nusrat Fateh Ali. Now if only countries could take a page from the universal success of these artists.

The everyday language is the same, the only difference between them is the vocabulary and technical terminology used - if you watch the news you'll notice it. Hindi uses more Sanskrit words, whilst Urdu relies more on Persian and Arabic words, their grammar, however, is identical. Hindi is written in the Devanagari script; Urdu is written in the Perso-Arabic script.
