  • LOL

Now I want to get a chemistry set just so I can decorate it.

And also so I can look at random things in the microscope and make things blow up :)

  • This is fuckin' adorable (-w-)

  • haha! Mrs Hudson's face at 0:40 ! :p

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEREMY DARLING!!!

Love you always - you are the best! :) <3

  • 0:34 : " MRS HUDSON!!!!!! " There have been many " Mrs Hudson!!!"` s but this one might be the best......

  • Holmes, are you high again?

  • Wow is that Jeremy Brett? I've only watched the first season, what the hell happened to him? Also, *sigh* this Watson's pretty terrible.

  • @Vladislav101 Jeremy was, I'm sorry to say, very ill at this point, so one can't really blame him for looking different than ten years earlier... And you think Edward Hardwicke is terrible as Watson? :( I recommend you should watch the rest of the seasons - all of them are amazing. And I'm sure you'll come to like this Watson, too. I did; I think he's the best now! :D

  • @MrsDelle Oh that's sad, I had no idea :( I think with this Watson, the problem was I'd gotten so used to the other one ,and the actor and Brett had such a fantastic chemistry then all of a sudden this random dude replaces him. I was probably a bit sour towards him from the offset, I guess :P

  • @Vladislav101 Yeah, I totally undertstand about Watson! :D I've heard many people say that, and of course, a change of actor in a tv-show is never a good thing. When I first started watching the show, however, I was so lucky that my brother, who already knew the show, let me shift between Watsons. First I saw an episode with David Burke, then one with Edward Hardwicke and so on. I couldn't tell one from the other, and I came to love them both! :D

  • @MrsDelle yes! I didn't realise they were different actors throughout a whole childhood of watching Sherlock Holmes! I do think David Burke is a better Watson though, even though Hardwicke is excellent in the role!

  • The chemistry dedcorating scene is one of my all time favorites. It's so childlike - one of those "cracks in the marble" as Jeremy use to say.

  • At 0:44, Holmes is like: "She actually talked to me like that?"

lol. I love the way Jeremy and Rosealie played off each other. :D

  • mwahaha! Holmes is just hilarious

  • they are a comedy duo ive seen some sherlock holmes that are very serious. this has cheered me up big time

  • lol love the "tree"

  • I'd kill to get a Snuggie from Holmes.

  • "Oh! You're wearing it!" He sounds so happy. It's so sweet.

    "Charminnnngg...?"

  • I love this, I love his expression when he sees the Christmas tree. Decorating his chemistry set is brilliant!

  • GAMages!

  • dude it sounds like he said honey.

  • This may, in fact, be the Cutest Thing Ever.

  • Watson got a snuggie for christmas.

  • @Fuki3000 those were the snuggies from back in the day

  • HAHAHA LMAO again!!! you should just know how funny her name sounds in danish!! x''D

  • i think this is possibly the most adorable thing i've ever seen XD

  • thats a very dinky christmas tree they got there

  • @wondakaiba93 Yeah. All you have to do is hang a red ornament on it and say "Maybe it just needs a little love".

  • I love how Holmes is like "GAMages!"

  • Oh man, Jeremy Brett sounds so different here already.

    It makes me sad :(

  • lol, for a second I thought Holmes was using a laptop in the first scene.

  • is there an unwritten rule that all lovely sherlocks must sound like alan rickman?

  • @TheHalftimelord Only because Alan Rickman is awesome!!! :D

  • Funniest thing EVA!!! im so high right now...

  • Oh, he's so sweet! <3

  • Gamages! I remember shopping for Christmas there myself, before it closed and they knocked it down;-)

  • @CallumJStewart I think it's a new pipe *rack*?

  • @melbaa12 yes

  • " MRS.HUDSON, HOW DARE YOU TAKE MY ASPIDISTRA!"

  • @SlakeDragon I *do* dare...

  • And Doctor Watson proves that it's impossible to be sad when you're wearing a poncho.

  • XD so cute!!! completely ignores the christmas-tree, decorating it would be RIDICULOUS! the chemistry-set on the other hand... XD

I just LOVE the audible question-mark when Holmes says "charming...?"

just a little unsure about himself! ^_^

  • Did Mrs. Hudson just say " Depot Mental Store"?

  • Aww <3 so cute x) and i have to say, that's a bit holmesie :D that "isn't it" sounds really cute adorable. and "honey" haha : DD really sounds like honey.

  • So Holmes got Watson a snuggie for Christmas?

  • OMG this is adorable! xD

  • What does Holmes say at 0:33???

    I can't understand him. lol

  • @ronvins He says "Mrs. Hudson! How dare you take my Aspidistra!"

  • @paceetrate Thanks

  • HOW ADORABLE.

  • LOL at the one where Mrs. Hudson took his plant...

  • when Watson comes calls HOlmes in the last scene i swear he yells "honey!!!"

  • OMG.... it so sounds like he does. I'm not even a H/W shipper and I find that funny! XD

  • @glancesherlock Hahahahahahahahahaha.......omg!

  • Actually he says, "Come in."

  • @legolasisagirl Fangirls represent :)

  • lol, Watson's wearing a snuggie! XD

  • @melbaa12 Their last episode was actually called "The Dying Detective" It's an incredibly intense bit of television.

  • @GreenMasterplan no, the Cardboard Box was the last to air.

  • lol when holmes walks in the look on his face i keep expecting to see watson getting it on with miss cushing or something

  • WATSON HAS A PRIMITIVE SNUGGIE.

  • PFFFFFFF the look on Watson's face when he sees Sherlock decorate that thing. He's trying SO hard to ignore it but Holmes is so proud of it it doesn't work...

  • it's a Snuggy!!

  • XD Your comment made my day.

  • Ha he just got told by a old lady, epic.

  • Haha, wow, it's january 1st '09!

  • This is hilarious, but, PLEASE, change your title in the vid from SherlCOCK to SherlOCK...

  • It's so nice to see Mrs. Hudson develop from being kind of afraid of Holmes to being able to just talk back at him.

"I do dare." *giggles* Love it!

  • He's like Sheldon Cooper. ehehehe.

  • He really is himself the most comic character in the series, in the stories and in this, too. Well, he makes me laugh the most, anyway. BAUBLES!

  • SherlCOCK Holmes??? Lolz, what a mistype XDXD Ahhahaha!

  • XDDDD I never noticed that! That's funny.

  • It's so cute!

Being such a great detective and not knowing a solution for such a little, common problem as a christmas present.

The second funny thing is that mrs Hudson, who normally never disobeyed Sherlock Holmes, dares to give such a brutal answer 0:36 tot 0:44

  • I laughed a lot!! Thank you for uploading!!

  • You mistake one word at the begining of the clip. "Sherlock Holmes", not "Sherlcock Holmes"

  • Wow, I never noticed that! XD Thanks for pointing that out!

  • You're welcome. (Hey! Why don't you correct it?)

  • "Charming isn't it?"

  • "I do dare!" :44 lmao! you go Mrs. Hudson!.........When I saw him decorating his chemistry set, I fell off my chair laughing!!!! ROFL!!

  • Rosalie Williams played Mrs. Hudson. Isn't she just a hoot? I loved her in this series. SO funny. And the CHEMISTRY SET!!! I died laughing when I saw that...

  • This never fails to make me grin like a stupid schoolgirl. :D Wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!

  • I haven't seen this episode.... his voice sounds very shakey compared to other episodes... was this filmed when he wasn't well?

  • Yes, this was the very last episode of the series that was filmed. :(

  • PLEASE can you upload the full episode? I've never seen this one. Thanks. :D

  • All these scences are bloody marvellous, glancesherlock! I laughed for ages when Watson came out in that thing! Also, Mrs Hudson RULES!!! "I do dare"...Ha ha!

  • Mrs. Hudson is awesome! Thanks! ^^

  • Wasn't the lady waiting on him, the wife in Rebecca?

  • Yes, she was! Jeremy was happy to play again with Joanna David.

  • Yes! I knew I was right! ^_^

  • My god he looks so funny in that thing.

  • I love these scenes, I love the cardboard box story, the book and the jeremy version. Thanks for uploading!:)

  • Two awesome things about this clip:

The ornament on top of the test tube, of course, and the fact that there is a "missing persons agency" in London. I guess people got lost a lot more back then?

  • XD, Watson looks ridiculous in that thing."

  • That's why it's in here. :D

  • Gotta love Mrs.Hudson. "I do dare"

  • Haha, yes. And then his face is perfect.

  • Mrs. Hudson kicks ass! w00t!

  • Heck yes!!!

  • holmes' whatever-it-was is more attractive than that christmas tree...

  • the Aspidistra....

  • LOL!!!

  • What did Watson give Holmes? A new pipe rack?

  • Maybe, but I'm not sure. It's difficult to tell what he's saying there.

  • *still laughing* That was awesome!!XXXXD Fine examples for clever humor. I really enjoyed watching. Thank You!

  • What is that?

    Its a christmas tree...sir.

  • erm...he's actually saying

"Its a christmas tree..Its a..." and so on

now having saying that, I'm pretty sure you knew that already lol

  • Watson:...hasn't been seen since last Thursday.

Holmes: Sounds to me as though she disappeared.

    Watson: Evidently, Holmes.

Holmes: There could be one or two reasons for her disappearance.

Watson:*"I will kill you later for this" face* Yes, I know, Holmes.*Sharply* Either because...

    Holmes behaving badly.. lol.

  • Ha ha! Exactly.

  • Watson: This is a Miss Cushing.

    *Holmes precedes to ignore her*

Watson: *Desperately* Miss Cushing is concerned about her sister... *Holmes is walking away* Mrs Brownham. *Waits until Holmes has seated himself at the opposite end of the room, and has at least answered*

    Holmes: Pray continue

    Watson: *Smiles: Thank the Lord*.....

  • Pause.

Holmes: *Points, with a look of disgust* What is that?

Watson: *apologetic, with that "I can't take him anywhere" voice* It's a Christmas tree.

    Oh dear.

  • That's what I thought when I first saw that. I also couldn't stop laughing for about an hour. It still tickles me.

  • Hilarious!

  • I love these scenes: flair, humor and a little bit sentiment! Jeremy Brett was a first class actor and the cast was exceptional! Thanks for uploadind, and Happy new year to you!

  • Precisely my own three favourite scenes from this episode. Jeremy Brett was a genius. Thank you for putting this together!

  • Mrs Hudson, how dare you take my aspidistra?

Hehe, always gets me every time. Thanks for posting this, fab idea :-D

  • I love it when Mrs. Hudson goes, "I do dare." And then Holmes recoiles with a face that says, "Well, alright then."

  • Thanks!

  • Skerlock: What's that...?!

Watson: It's a Christmas tree, sir.

    Classic!

  • Isn't it though.
