  • That... is some sad Drunken Boxing skills. He was basically acting the part of a human punching bag for all the offense and defense he mounted.

  • What the hell is this this black dress boy knows nothing about kung fu i think the karate guy had set up this video to show that he is tough but actually you can never defeat a zui chuan boxer with karate ....

  • i like how one is black belt and the other is red

  • Clearly this guy does not know drunken boxing

  • Grab that leg and twist!

  • its about the art not the fighter...... it is to c how good u can use the techniques

  • The drunken stye is a series of exercises to train the body and mind to relax in combination with a proper fighting martial art. Its never meant to be used in a real fight as a martial art. It got popular by Chan's film, then so did Batman jumping of roofs! Its one of those Wushu trash glorified to rip folks off. Imagine doing drunken master style in a bar or a confined space. And I know there are folks out there still being ripped off going to defend it, but I'm giving you the facts.

  • This dude sucks at drunken fist. He didnt look like he was relaxing his muscles.

  • I respect drunken fist and always look forward for it to be my 2nd or 3rd next martial art, next to tai chi (I know tai chi is for old people but in my mind its control and focus) also Karate is just an overgrown american sport, meaning that it is pointless in self-defense

  • this is the gayest drunken boxing i've ever seen

  • the reason i bet they kept changing to face shots is that the other guy hit the taekwondo so to save face they only show when taekwondo hits the drunken

  • @Rookycastle22 Karate :D

  • either it be black or brown..,

    blue or whatever it is..,

    the most important thing is..,

    the warrior itself..,

it doesn't matter what style it is,

how the person do is the answer,

  • I love gay sex

  • BOOM BITCH that guy just got his ass kicked lol

  • Always attack an unstable or awkward opponent, whether it be tradiitonal martial arts, mma, streetfighting or western boxing. This vid demonstrates that. And by the way, the karateka is no better at karate than the kung fu practitioner is at drunken fist. This is what happens when dancing goes up against a martial art.

  • how about we just say this guy sucks at drunken fist

  • that first kick... how the ef??

  • Drunk from all those kicks he ate.

  • that drunking fist shit don't look like it's worth a fuck.. unless you plan on getting your ass kicked

  • @1MrKingdomBusiness this isnt it. he is very, very bad at it.

  • @1MrKingdomBusiness The DF guy is a red belt, the Karate dude is a blackbelt, which is AT LEAST a 4 level difference. Besides, its a Japanese video (don't wanna sound stereotypical but...) so of course they want to make their Karate look better....

  • that's tae kwon do not karate...

  • did anybody els notice its red belt vs a black belt? and the guy dosnt even look like he knows drunken fist, it look like hes just trying to copy off of what he saw in a video somewhere

  • He's drunken boxing is not good the movements n the style need more speed n more fighting n needs to be flexible but strong

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahaha what the hell is this hahahahahah if the drunken fist is not martial arts is just a fucking shit jacki chan invent for a movie thinkin about and besides jacky chan never knew kung fu he was just an actor in teatre not a martial artist and thats asshole only cause lol he dont even know what he try to do is bullshit

  • @mekoskitecho He was a martial artist before the movies, and Drunken boxing's original name is Zui Quan, not made by chan just made popular by him

  • @RageMysterio he was not looking the jacky chan story he start the teater drama when he was a kid he explain everything the moves they teach in the teater are similar as martial moves but is not martial arts he told everything and about the drunken fist he also explain that when he was inventing he was thinking in how a drunk will fight making it looks fancy all i can tell is in china ask about the drunken fist the will laught because it just was a movie

  • @mekoskitecho lol, My resource is that i asked him myself because i met him, my other resource is that, ive traveled the world, and ive talked people all over asia, and there informations proves other wise.

  • That was the worst drunken fighting technique I think I have ever seen...

  • seems more like the sober fist.

  • the drunken boxer is the worst I have ever seen... and he isn't fighting against karate... he is fighting against one of the most tough martial art: KYOKUSHIN

  • As Ip man put it "style doesn't matter, it depends on the person"

  • yeah you silly billy. hahah. anyway this was the shit. i was hoping the drunk style would win so i could show people that the shit works but he got like 4 sober ass kicks to the face, but this was still cool. and at the begining where he was dodging all those kicks was amazing, he made it look easy.

  • @achfearamhain What sucks is that this wasn't a better drunken fist boxer :/ I know drunken fist is really really good, but almost everything is really really good. Karate, Muay Thai, and most Gung Fu are the most efficient I can think of. But this "drunkard", lol, isn't ass loos as he should've been and telegraphed far to much. He got clipped with those kicks cause the karateka was following his movements trying to catch him at his most vulnerable, which worked.

  • @HairofSteel555 No i understand and I'm not talking crap or anything, but i was definitely rooting for the drunk boxer.

  • That was a horrible take on Drunken Fists.

  • Brazilian jiu jitsu would destroy both f them!

  • @korinstower202 No it wouldn't. BJJ sadly has a lot of loops that can be overcome if the person can't fight on their feet. BJJ is NOT invincible.

  • @HairofSteel555 but it is superior, especially to karate.

  • @korinstower202 It is not superior. What qualifications do you have to say this? Have you trained in it, and for how long? Have you over 600 accounts of Jujutsu defeating Karate or Gung Fu? Are you going by cage rules or street fighting? I assure you, Jujutsu is NOT superior to any form of martial art.

  • @HairofSteel555 watch the gracie challenge herp derp :P

  • @korinstower202 "Herp Derp" and your lack of credentials shows me you're just another Keyboard Warrior nut riding your favorite art from a TV Show. I, myself, have 11 years worth of Goju Ryu Karate Do training under my belt and have exchanged with several grapplers. Most of the time if all they know is grappling, they will be crushed by the standing fighter before they get a chance to perform any of your precious holds or locks.

  • its just dam to obvious that they pay the guy in a black to demonstrate their karate for the purpose of getting more student into karate, its like karate is much more better than kung-fu but i doubt it i have fought several karate practitioners and the cant even hit me.im a boxer here in the philippines,i studied silat and krav maga,,and to think thats drunken boxing i doubt it,,,this flick is literally payed for commercial business

  • yes your right karate was originally called china hand instead of empty hand because it came to Okinawa(not japan) and modified. also what you said is totally wrong. karate is a life long pursuit that can never truly be mastered just like almost every other martial arts. martial arts. i respect every style of martial arts kung fu for instance (which is a very broad group of martial arts) has some very effective styles like wing chun and jeet kune do. this however is pretty to look at but is bs.

  • @zerordieb87 Jeet Kune Do is a fighting concept or philosophy and not an actual martial art or fighting system. It's not apart of Kung Fu.

  • Go train a few more years! Dun throw our Chinese Face Punk!

  • Drunken fist is really deadly when used correctly. He wasn't using it quite right, but also don't forget, It was a blackbelt in karate vs a red belt using Drunken fist.

  • drunken is all about fooling the enemy

  • Lame shit....

  • Zui Quan, the funniest, and yet surprisingly useful, fighting style.

  • MOst kung fu is a joke... only certain things like Wing Chun and... yeah are useful... too much unnecessary art put into it that can cause trouble for yourself... like in this video

  • @EBB47 ''MOst kung fu is a joke''

    Why?

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... I see that your channel is full of kung fu... look i don't really mean it is a joke but certain styles aren't that much effective to me. Sanda, Wing Chun, JKD, and maybe Shaolin and a system i am learning called Shou shu are things that i do find effective. If you really want an opinion please ask for more.... i'd like to hear your opinions too

  • @EBB47 Yeah. There are some Kung Fu styles who are not ''so'' effective. Remeber in Kung Fu are over 1000 of styles. But it just depends on the fighter and not the fighting/Kung Fu style.

  • @MartialArtsCN when the Chinese first came to America teaching Kung Fu inthe 70's they taught bullshit.. they may have knew the real thing, but didnt want to teach whites and especially African Americans. so they taught Wushu or some made up crap. so they went to the tournaments and got there butts kick by the Karate practioners. i am a kung fu student for 30 yrs.. the real stuff works . i was one of the lucky ones. the Chinese played on our ingnorance , but now were better.

  • That kid is a horrible representative for the drunken martial arts. I've studied the drunken arts for 4 years. I know for pure fact that if that kid was truly a drunken fist student he wouldn't be that stiff. MMA is good. But you need the other stuff too. A true master in the drunken fist style would be way too fast and too powerful to be put in a ring with a "Karate" black belt. Karate is a load of BS. Kung Fu ROCKS!

  • @Jerebearification because stumbling around like an idiot pretending to be holding cups isnt bs at all. you bash my art ill bash yours.

  • @zerordieb87 Well, we'll see in the end who is standing. That kid is a poor example. Plus, he's just a red belt. Not really a fair fight between a black belt and a red belt. But hey, the Japanese never fought fair anyway.

  • @Jerebearification umm.... ok i dont see what this has to do with the japanese as a people but whatever. in my experience with both of these martial arts kung fu is more aesthetically pleasing and karate is more about winning a fight. so the typical karate black belt would usually win against a typical kung fu black belt in my opinion

  • @zerordieb87 If you knew ANY history whatsoever, you'd know Karate came from Japan. And, no. Both depend on training. Whether or not the student is willing to learn, or if the teacher is willing to teach. Either way, you can't truly master Kung Fu in a year. You have to master it over the course of your lifetime. Karate is something mastered over the course of but a few years. Kung Fu, real Kung Fu, is something that can't be beaten. Every art derives itself from Kung Fu, Including Karate.

  • Isn't that taekwondo ....karate is different

  • The karate guy can throw those kicks pretty fast, but not so fast that he shouldn't set them up with something beforehand. Sooner or later somebody's going to grab one of those out of the air and throw him on his ass.

  • Drunken style kungfu not really affective against stronger oppisition, all it really is alot of finesse, really not affective-now if we talk about MMA thats'another story. MMA has been dubbed the pitbull of martial arts because of it's dominants over all so called martial arts. So all you so called masters should just simply convert to Mixed Martial Arts!

  • the drunk fu guy is not very good

  • I hope this drunken master did drink before the fight, so that he wouldn't feel his ass getting handed to him.

  • That's not Zui Quan, thats idiocy

  • Drunken style is bullshit

  • lol oooh ohhh XD in america it'd be like damn the nigga just kicked in the head or some white version of that

  • These Japs need face and glory and take pride in their bullshit. So what's new?

Drunken fist boxing in reality has thousands of varied moves, but let these karate people console themselves.

  • @SeventhSun "I fear not the man who has practiced 10000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10000 times."

  • @SeventhSun What are you talking about? It just so happens that the Drunken boxer was less trained than the Karateka in this instance. Some drunken boxers can become too centered on making the movements look good as did the loser of this match. It has nothing to do with Japanese ego-boosting so kerb the racism you silly billy

  • Complete Bull#@*%...Not in a MILLION years!!!!!

  • By the looks of it, the kung fu practictioner needs to adopt a more "sober" style. LOL

  • usually i just dont anwer to this kind of videos but this is total bullshit!THE DRUNKEN GUY HE'S PERFORMIN A DEMOSTRATIVE VERSION INSTEAD OF FIGHTING.I'M A MARTAIL ARTIST AND I DO UTTERLY RESPECT KARATE TRADITION BUT THIS VIDEO MEANS NOTHING....let someone trained in the zuji quan style do a real fight and lets see how much is effective...this is just a promotial video,,,done by peps who clerly don't care about martial arts. IMHO

  • dude thats not even a master at drunken fists...notice his red belt...

  • would a drunk guy strike so quickly? wait! would I strike that quick if I was drunk? :D

  • Drunken boxing is effective. The fight here had some issues, especially with the lack of the drunken boxer moving in. The point of the style is to be able to take blows, while at the same time it was developed to catch attackers off guard...because you look drunk.

  • wasnt drunken boxing developed for cinema?

  • Is that Drunken master dumb or something? All he has to do is bring the fight to the ground or go in close and that other wanker can't throw his kicks any more. DOH!!!

  • @MrDarryl1977 Not, a master.

  • Change the title to, "Epic repetitive kicks to the a drunken idiots face"

  • @NaYarB04 The drunken guy sucks, but... epic repetitive kicks? I think a real epic kick is not supposed to be repetitive... is suposed to be enough

  • @gotmilk3001 yea your right i should of not used the word "everybody" and i know i am 2 years late lol

  • Thats not drunken fist, its just a drunken idiot

  • you train your mind to intoxicate itself you have to these days, if you drink to much u will not fight well at all, all have some respect for all mma

  • he doesn't do the style correctly but I have done tien shan pai kung fu for 6 and hlaf years although we didn't use drunken fist I have fought karate fighters and messed them up because katate moves front back side to side like a plus sign as to where kung fu there is movement coming from any angle so I believe drunken fist if mastered should be able to beat karate this guy barely tried to strike and didnt defend properly

  • @MrHalfblack69 kung fu is one of the very few martial arts that is more worthless than karate, bro. you're a retard

  • @SardonicFox1994 You're the retard bro i did full contact fighting did mma for 6 and a half years won most my fights by knckout only lost 3 by points i would go pro but im going to college instead kung fu the right kung fu tien shan pai is not useless it is like street fighting sometimes we would come to class in our normal clothes everything is allowed in the class i took ive been in street fights as well and destroyed my opponent so once you grow some balls then try to dis my martial art

  • mmmuuuwwwoooo

  • Clearly the dude is not drunk enough

  • dudes i mean come on drunken fist is also about useing your body and confuseing your oppenent

  • drunken kung fu is very appeasing to the eye, but i question it's validity as far as effectiveness goes.

  • @FraisC its actually really affective. It relaxes the body (allows the person to take more blows)Its unpredictable which usually allows hits to get through the defense, and though they look of balance they arent. In skilled hands its a very good technique think of it as a circle and the more robotic martial art as a line. One of my masters once said a circle will always beat a line...but of course that circle must know what hes doing"lol i love that last partXD didnt know munks had sense of humor

  • The guy using the drunken fist is too stiff for the movements. Drunken fist require a lot of flexibility and staggering. Just imagine a real drunk person walking, breathing and the way they try to walk straight. Their co-ordination is all off and their movements are very light, like the grass that bends with the wind. It takes years of practice to master the Zui Quan style

  • @DamnShoe i agree, i have recently started an intresst in drunken kung fu and by my experience in drinking you cant use this fighting style all tensed up serius, you gotta losen up.

  • @DamnShoe agreed. this was a good drunken fist practitioner but he still has a long way to go. he was way too stiff to be doing the technique.

  • actually, not trying to start shit........but this is a clip from another video called karate vs. kung fu. and that wasn't drunken style....in drunken style their fist look like theyr holding cups as if they were drinking. this is actually snake kung fu. ya.....i mean if you look at the vid it seems pretty obvious that its snake kung fu. oh and also on the original vid it also said that this particular guy was doing snake kung fu.

  • did you see the fucking kick in the beggining!? that shit made his neck retract!

  • That dude is a sad example of the drunken fist... He sucks!

  • krav maga > muay thai > shotokan > some kung fu > most karate > most kung fu > tae kwon do.

  • @madeofhatred u left a bunch of arts out, try again.

  • @ikcjjtt well i had to over generalize buut

krav maga > mai mae muay thai > brazilian jiu jitsu > aikido > judo > jiu jitsu > shotokan(or shito ryu) > san soo >.....

    you know what?

    fuck you no..

    im gonna go shower..

  • @madeofhatred thank u, and yea u need to cause your comment was full of shit. And i can smell it from a miles away.

  • @ikcjjtt you can smell over the internet?

and how does my personal hygeine affect the smell of a comment?

  • Lol, "expert" karate vs newbies kung fu..

    Karate suck

  • Also he is not drunk. He is only fist.

  • The drunken fist isn't in his stance. Also he's not using the earth to support him. As Drunken fist is Zui Quan. Also he could've aimed for the groin. Or balls... Would've ended the fight instant kill.

  • this druken fighter sucks

  • and thats why bruce Lee make his own martial art, because all the shit crap old style chinese martial were too fancy and stupid..why then bruce lee not use this drunken fist to fight a muay thai or karate master? why jet kun do? wing chun was not the real shit of bruce lee, bruce lee was a free style fighter, wing chun is stupid shit for marketing purpose to sell the chinese dignity.

  • @maclaren888 Bruce Lee won his fights with wing chun. He only made JKD because he hurt his hand from punching some guy in the back of the head with wing chun. But he actually beat kung fu masters with his wing chun. He was never free of style. JKD is still a style.

  • @ikcjjtt you dont understand jeet kune do then

  • @MegaPokerMon thats true. Bruce made a ton of contradictions in his quotes. they sound nice, but what the hell do they mean? I train in JKD, 6 months now. How is it not a style? We do what works, and it becomes a style. some of us may prefer punching, kicking, trapping, or grappling, but we are still learning a set of skills. Its not a bunch of guys getting together and learning a bunch of crap and fudging it all together and calling it JKD. We punch a certain way (not all the time), we have-

  • @MegaPokerMon certain counters, kicks, ect that we use. And some we dont. I dont get the whole not a style thing. The more i train in it the less i get it. And perhaps that's what he meant by dissolving the techniques and losing stylized combat-becoming like water i suppose. I dont really get it, but i do it anyway. a punch is a punch and a kick is a kick, reguardless of what some philosophy says.

  • @ikcjjtt Jeet Kun Do is just mma. By that i dont mean mma/ufc which is a style blend chosen to be successful at one form of combat...You pick and choose what works for you. I ve known two different people who have practiced jkd and neither one fought anything like the other except maybe for the off-kilter footwork. But JKD is hard to find where I live so I have limited experience with it. Maybe the JKD that is taught now is a style but I dont think that is how Bruce would have intended it.

  • @ikcjjtt but since you are a practitioner I wont argue with you. You are in a position to know more about it than I do. I will say that I was impressed by JKD. I go to an "anything that works" academy so I am not locked into any one style. We had a guy who knew JKD come in to spar to see if he wanted to join our dojo. He was an extremely very talented fighter. There were no paper tigers at my school and even a couple guys who could have easily fought in the UFC had trouble with him.

  • chinese martial art is sucks to maximum..I wonder why chinese people still dont get it, their martial art, are really just an art, not martial enough for combat.

  • @maclaren888 tell that to Bruce Lee

  • @maclaren888 Hahahahaha...... Youre joke my friend......

  • someone get this man another beer!

  • Everyone knew that guy in the white won. He got the most hits and left the other guy bleeding.

  • drunken dude shoulda just stayed at the bar

  • @AndNoted yeah maybe he wansn't drunk enough XD

  • @AndNoted u realize tht druken fists is a fighting style practiced by monks right

  • @hmmusernames huh? what's a practiced?

  • YEAHHH FISRT MARTIAL ART THAT YOU NEED TO BRING A VODKA BOTTLE TO THE CLASS!! HELL YA IM IN!

  • I think he is really drunk because he is not really fighting.

  • this is an embarrassment to druken boxing

    IM MAD

  • Toomuchlaughing; Chan spent most of his training time in the Chinese opera school, where students are indeed taught a lot of exercises from real styles (especially Chang Chuan), however the emphasis is not on the fighting part but on the conditioning part for performance purposes. His expertise is not in fighting theories such as Bruce Lee's JKD, but in agility and acrobatic ability. He studied some real styles, yes, but with performance rather than fighting in mind.

  • And to the awwfulwaafffle: "When Chan gets hit..." well he doesn't get hit, those are characters that he is portraying in films. The characters "get hit" in a sense, but the actor Jackie Chan doesn't. He is first and foremost an acrobat who knows little about real fighting, and he has even admitted that himself. It is also evident from his moves, which are nice but not really functional techniques. He's awesome at what he does, but people need to understand what it is and what it isn't.

  • @OliverLarson "knows little about real fighting". I think you were misinformed. Jackie Chan knows many forms of Kung Fu, Boxing, Judo, and Taekwondo. He has trained under many grand masters.

  • This drunken fist is not performed properly, not even close. I am beginning to suspect that he is actually a karate guy hired to make Chinese boxing look bad.

It sure looks that way judging by his stances and transitions.

And to those who think he is Chinese, no he is clearly Japanese.

And since when were traditional Chinese styles performed barefoot?

  • fucking kung Fu shit

  • NOTE TO SELF: when using drunkin fist ACT like drunk but fight at the same time

  • karate isnt better than drunken fist, this guy just isnt doing it right

  • bull shit he doesnt know any drunken boxing u actualy will fall down as a fake n get up to fuck him up n so goes on so he is not well train or he is mocking n yhat is a disgrace to the drunkin boxing

  • He's punch drunk!

  • Those were real karate kicks but that was not real Drunken Boxing. Drunken Boxing is something that only works for a master like Jackie Chan. Notice how when this guy was getting kicked in the face he kept losing his timing. When Chan gets hit he doesn't stop to think about the pain.

  • That druken fist fighter... was terrible at defending... and even attacking the guy wasn't even trying.. he attacks weren't even aggressive... pathetic...

  • This isn't drunken fist >:(.

  • Drunken fist loses

  • Maybe he's drunk because he's seen too many fists xD

  • Wow wasn't a very good representation Drunken fist or (drunkin boxin) was represtned very poorly and the marshal artist has to be a noob beacuse A master would have had no problem evading getting in and blocking every strike. Trust me this style if trained for is not to the faint hearted.

  • Wow wasn't a very good representation

  • drunken fist does only demostration, cause drunken-fu style sucks, if the dude fights to saves his ass. drunken-fu is good for videogames and jackie chan's movies.

  • Good Karate. Bad Drunken Fist. Nice.

  • he got served (with kicks to the face)

  • doesnt he know hes not actually supposed to be drunk. shouldve thought about that before he chugged the saki. hahahahaha

  • @TheDrunx666 you dont have to be drunk this guy just wasnt good at using the drunken fist

  • @DatDude912 hmm no shit. thats why he got kicked in the face multiple times.

  • That was a terrible drunken fist..

  • Humiliating and contrived. I still get pissed when I see this video - god knows why I watch it lol.

  • I just love how people say it wont work in real life or in a ring....apparently people dont know that back when martial arts were formed the reason they were formed were to protect and or kill. So they do in fact work and as for a ring, umm lemme put it this way a ring has protective rules which martial arts dont follow so of corse they wont work in a ring because half of there techniques are useless because of rules....btw that isnt real Drunken Kung Fu, its a bad imitation.

  • @Wariar11 its a combination of terrible drunken fist and not being used to the rules. If the rules say you cant punch to the face, and if drunken boxing only has attacks to the face...well you have a mismatch of rules here. On the other hand, if you have no idea what you are doing in the 1st place (like this so called drunken fist guy in the video), then with or without rules your training is just ineffective.

  • @ikcjjtt yea thats true, Drunken fist has alot of techniques that karate rules against in competitions. Also this guy has no idea how to perform Drunken fist, its a shame, drunken fist is realy a unique style.

  • Drunken style kung fu is useless. Try that shit in real life or in the cage. U will be sorely dissapointed.

  • @LouieTheButcher have u ever seen or fought against drunken fists combativly?

  • @ikcjjtt No..Not Drunken Fist. Many other styles though..Muay Thai, Boxing, Judo, Jing Jow Pai, BJJ, Ishinryu-Karate, ect. My gym has open door policy and accepts all respectful challenges.

  • @LouieTheButcher then fight it a few times before deeming it as ineffective.

  • @LouieTheButcher Actually, a friend of mine did it in real life and won =_=

  • @rodney1120 Wow. Thats suprising. Would have loved to see that! Lol

  • @LouieTheButcher Yeah, it really was awesome, the other guy was so surprised, his look was like 0_o xD

  • these guys sux
