Hi, I'm really new to unity and may I ask you what script you exactly used to play video on the object? what I can do so far is just to play video on GUI where I cannot change my angle towards the video.
In order to do this you will need Unity Pro (you could of course do it for free but you would need to do the whole thing by hand). If you do have Pro then just search documentation for Video Textures. They have a few examples there. Sorry can't say more than that, I don't have Unity on this machine.
