  • i loved Fire!!!!!!

  • Isnt this from the back of the book?

  • The timeline of Fire was before the timeline in Graceling. Leck was still a child, he was given a background story. So we now knew how he came back to the Seven Kingdoms with his other eye bleeding. :) Leck was already a bastard as a child /lol. Oh and I liked Fire as well, the plot. But I don't like the - getting pregnant parts. Archer is somehow a douche but it hurts to see him die. Then lots of secrets of who is the real father-like that. God. I felt I was going to explode. But I liked it :)

  • The thing I loved most in the book was the memories between Fire and her father Cansrel. Dunno why I just love that he take care and love her when he's a bit (pretty much) mad :P

  • So wait, are Graceling and Bitterblue connected, with the same characters, and Fire is about a whole other group of people?

  • @Alixl2256 well kinda...Fire takes place before Katsa and Bitterblue were probably born and is about a girl named Fire. At the beginning of Fire, it tells how Leck came to be. Graceling is about Katsa. Bitterblue is about Bitterblue, the princess that Katsa helped rescue a few years ago.

  • @Alixl2256 except one character. It says in the cover of Fire...

  • @Squiggiez1118 dang it u ruined the ending but idc doesn't matter

  • fire is a compleate different book from graceling and bitterblue so i hope she makes another one with fire and brigan!

  • i hate archer (sort of) but i absolutley LOVE brigan

  • I literally just finished reading Fire two minutes ago and as I a guy I can say I thoroughly enjoyed and Graceling as well.

  • @averagejoethe72nd lol same

  • I think after graceling

cause they said: from the author of graceling comes now fire

But i m actually not really sure bout it

  • Did this book come out before or after graceling? Po shouldnt have gone b---d in graceling bad ending! But i want a movie out of them all!

  • @Squigglesz1118 It came out after but it takes place before.

  • i reckon fire is better then graceling

  • OMG! I love Kristen Cashore! She is an amazing author! Graceling and Fire are so awesome! I couldn't put them down!

  • They should make movies of Graceling and Fire :D

  • is there a 3 book plz answear me asp

  • @sahsay34 There is a third book coming out called, Bitterblue.

  • I didn't like Archer, but I still cried when he died.

  • @lizayzay

gee, thanks for ruining it for me D: haha, jk, I don't care. Are Po and Katsa and friends in it at all?

  • @galekitty Sorry!!! :((( I hate spoilers too

    my badddd

  • Archer got 2 other people pregnant I didnt like him when I read that part.

  • God Brigan. I liked him even more than Po, and that's a heavy compliment.

  • lol is it me or does the person who plays fire in the trailer look more like alice in wonderland?

  • NICE BOOK 2, I MEAN GRACELING IS AMAZING!

  • can't wait until Bitterblue come out !!!!!!!!

  • @kwbhsid it's the 3rd book in the 7 kingdom series. not sure if it's out yet though

  • I have not read this book yet. Im halfway through Graceling. Does Fire have good romance in it? like better than graceling?

  • @wonderjosey18 it's a little more inappropriat, A LOT of sex

  • they messes up her hair, she has red hair

  • @SilverClan100 not centuries 30 years

  • @jennaeg1

  • I cnt get enough of these books I jst keep reading them and reading them! I dnt like Archer but for some reason i was sad when he died. Brigan is SOOOOOO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the great thing about these books, is that the main heroes are BADASS GIRLS jst goes to show u boys that girls are jst as strong if not stronger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the other boys can kick some SERIOUS BUTT!! i hope they make a movie out of Fire and Graceling!

  • I am just starting the book, It is really great! I agree I don't like archer one bit either =(

(It's not the writing, I don't like archer because he is very self absorbed and mean, especially at the very beginning when Fire is hit by an arrow.)

  • Reading this now.....is Graceling before or after Fire? Archer is annoying aswell despite the sweet story of romance they had. Not sure what's gonna happen just yet...at page 200! I read it every day!!

  • @WhisperCally Graceling was written before Fire, but in time setting, Fire is 30 years ahead of Graceling, you'll find out more details when you really get into the book.

  • This is another amazing book. I loved it! Kristin Cashore wrote this really well! I recommend this book.

  • This book was AMAZING.

  • I LOVED this book. Graceling is amazing too. :D

  • im reading now!

    i just loved graceling

  • Not centuries, just 30 years prior. Leck being only 11 or so in it gives away that.

  • I love Fire, don't get me wrong....I just love graceling and Katsa better as a heroine. I thought that story line was overall better than Fire. Just my opinion though. Still loved it!!!!

  • @5pointechik I definitley agree with you! I felt like Katsa was badass whereas fire was slightly weaker. I love books with strong female protagonists. But Fire was still an amazing read.

  • AWESOME book READ, READ TOTALLY READ this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG! This was da best book evea!!!! I mean other than graceling of course! :P

  • i wouldn't say centuries. Leck was in Fire, and was also in Graceling. it was probably more like a couple decades.

  • @zuppup1 30 years to be precise

  • Are Fire and Graceling two separate books or is fire the sequel?

  • Fire's the sequel

  • @jamootastic it is a companion book to graceling it is not a sequel. it has only one character in the book that is from Graceling

  • Fire is th Prequel

  • Fire is the prequel, which is set BEFORE Graceling. But I do believe Po is in Fire, but as a child...Not sure didn't get that far yet.

  • Nope Po is not in it. Leck however is in it as a child.

  • @lexipooh122 not Po, King Leck but he's only 10 or 11

  • it's not really a sequel, but more like a prequel/spin-off.

  • i hate how Nash, at the begining of z book, he always tries to rape her

  • I didnt like Archer, he was a dick. Lol But i Love brigan :D

  • @12sassychick12 i didn't like him either but i still don't think he deserved to die. he did however deserve to be punched in the face repeatedly by every single girl he skrewed

  • im read this book next when my library has it available D:

  • I loved this book soooo much and now that I finished it im sad :( .....and Archer wasn't that bad but Brigan was soo much better and thats who she falls in love with Himeka3 :P

  • okay i know i really shouldnt ask this but i cant waiT! im currtenly reading the book fire, and is dying to know who she falls in love with, because i really dont like archer already!

  • Fire is amazing. I liked it better than Graceling. It is suuuch a good book. The main character is a strong female despite her lack in actual physical strength. The characters were so well written, they seemed real.

  • yeah they sure did...i would be fine with every1 coming "alive" besides Archer I think there are enough of him already lol

  • haha, I don't know, I didn't mind Archer. I mean sure...he was a douche but...i still feel bad for him.

  • I just got this book! I finished reading Graceling yesterday and I loved it so I hope Fire is as good.

  • It is definitly as good but youll HATE a character named archer at the end

  • @assassinsrock noo, I loved Archer! I mean...he was a douche at times, but I didn't hate him.

  • I want to read this book toooooo....

i loved Graceling... i hope this book is just a great..

  • i want to read this.
