India had the worlds largest GDP from 1st to 18th century untill the westerns came to loot and fill their houses with India's gold and treasures. they were not brave men but crooks who lied and cheated for monitory gains. But,yes the times have changed! If anyone things knowledge is language depedent,then they are biggest fools and there are many as seen from the comments below. commenting on someon's english is the most stupid thing I have heard.

@v2kamals Not to contradict you, but how could you possibly calculate the GDP of nations in the middle ages? It'd be a rough guess at best, and it should be said that China's GDP would (I suppose) be equal to that of India's. But again, this more or less a hypothetical proposition at best.

Regarding accent..It s like jumping in cold water on a winter day....First 5 mins it is not bearable..but then once you get used to it you can listen and understand. The efforts of the instructor are not wasted and speaks to the point. I would say it was informative and worth listening if you are newbie to shell and unix Intro.

If you can't understand accents, then you need to think about a career other than IT. The problem the is the length of the video, not the messenger.

It's not the understandability of the accent that got to me. It was the relative cacophony of it--it was just not very aesthetically pleasing to the ears. It was also the slow pace of the information communicated. The lecture could have been compressed for us ADHD youtubers. I think it's due to the fact that it's not their natural language, thus linguistic effiency is lacking.
