they all look like dynasty warrior characters. and also, i highly doubt these came from a reliable source considering the wizard only has melee weapons, when they should obviously have a staff/orb for atleast 1 high level set.
the beta is pretty awesome so far. the skill system is much better than d2 as you can actually pick many different skills and have the ability to kick ass with different combos, unlike d2 where its basically 1 overplayed skill per class. I feel like they are really taking there time to make sure they do the true d2 players right and give us a great third installment to the best series ever

Seems like 3D ruin the feel a bit that Diablo 2 had, everything look so dull, like that shiny armor stuff is gone and stuff can't be razorsharp and nice in the same way. Still wished they went for a 2 ½D thing with still 2D in the base to keep things clear and not these kinda stiffer animated characters. And all the real life amors are gone, replaced by this asian inspired shit once again, make me sad really, why take an approach that is like another game (wow) than Diablo?

Nah. The stat allocation thing kind of sucks, but stats are available freely on items and you can customize your char in other ways. Not to mention the increased cosmetic customization.
i saw videos people had with their chars using high end gear where do you get it? I never found anything since max level 13. Also I never found any legendaries from all of my playthroughs and I know they are around where did you guys find em?
Man the amour sets look nice. Some of the monks sets are sick :P

I fail to understand how so many people bombard these D3 videos with comments along the lines of "D3 will suck ass", "D1 and D2 were way better", "D3 is too much like WoW" etc. etc. D2 is run by bots, has a completely broken and shallow stats system, skill trees that basically allow 3 to maybe 4 valid builds for each class, PvP that is not even close to balanced, the Paladin class that is RIDICULOUSLY OP in Hammerdin and Smite builds...I loved D2 and respect D1..but come on now folks..get real.
And, for the record, I know Diablo games are PvM first and foremost, I know PvP will not be balanced in D3, but saying it will possibly be any worse than D2 is silly. This game looks amazing. This game will BE amazing.
As for WoW being a disgustibad game...Having played retail for only a few months I was appalled at how "dumbed down" Cataclysm got, but it's funner than shit playing Battlegrounds and destroying people's faces. And that's what it's about, having fun. Diablo 3 will be fun as shit.

@gothikaboy I'm not art major or graphic designer but I know what suits atmospheres. This style is just straight up lacking the darkened deep colors of true diablo. Blizzard posted out that they wanted to get out of the Same color screens as D1 and D2 so that it didn't fall into the "Gears of War" style. Where its all Dark same tone throughout. ALL their new games, are now exactly the same graphics, it's just uninteresting. They wanted to get out, but they didn't go the right way with this one.

In my opinion, the armor set not only has to be beautiful, but also comfortable. Almost all of these sets look like made to be shown on stage, not to be worn at the outside world, and to help you fight demons. Damn, you couldn't even move or move for long with this type of outwear.. so stupid. Bring back old good D2 styling, that was more into reality.

Enchants look good. They are definitely not out of d3 style. About the armor... Most of the sets are fine but some are just overpacked with shit. Love Witch Doctor's most.

Well some do look like the enchants from WoW, but that doesnt matter since they cant really do so many unique looks. The sets are freaking awesome though!
Oh also the enchants, i don't think they look like the WoW enchants 'which is good' the WoW enchants are more glow like but the d3 enchants are kind of original and cooler looking also TTTT :D:DD

@jcbtaylor44 i think that people who critisize it are talking about single player and an overall atmosphere of the game. not the MP of D3. i am one of those people. im not sayin it will be bad and i wont get it but they made a fantasy morpg out of a horror rpg and that is why we are a bit disapointed. can you understand now? i still get the shivers when i play D1 i somehow feel it wont be the same with D3

In my opinion, the armor set not only has to be beautiful, but also comfortable. Almost all of these sets look like made to be shown on stage, not to be worn at the outside world, and to help you fight demons. Damn, you couldn't even move or move for long with this type of outwear.. so stupid. Bring back old good D2 styling, that was more into reality.

@AndyTiran i think it is just you... Diablo 3 is way different then WoW. I play beta. Just because they add a couple features that resemble WoW does not mean they actually took it from wow. If you look at a lot of other games the same type, you will notice A LOT of games are doing the same thing with some aspects. Like the skills. being able to use a hot bar. Common, that has been the style since before diablo 2. (meh, I'll just leave it at this seems how i m out of characters remaining........)

How can ANYONE like these sets? Not only do they not fit the diablo universe and style what so ever, but they look ugly as hell on their own, even if this was a random game this is awful armor design, they look confusing, way too over designed, unfunctional and doesnt fit any of the characters. Dear god... i hope that this is only few of the many sets, because if not, i hope they make a feature were you can toggle armor on or off.
But most likely.. this is proberly fake.

@EncryptedGamer It's there, only pre order though. There's a lot of nice goodies with the bundle. 99.99 for the Collectors (I nearly died when I saw that) and 59.99 for normal. Pictures and all are on the page. Diablo Skull with USB soul stone a dvd with cinematics and a few other things. I'm too lazy to go through the forums again.
