@nara94 there's more trash talk on mountain bike videos than just about any other subject, it seems. i think comparing sammy hagar and david lee roth takes second place. geez.....lighten up, will ya? the guy isn't talking gibberish, for crying out loud.
@canadianroot your probs right haha, my point was some of his tips... aint the best... well diffo people have diffo thoughts and aproaches to the downhill world, and i was just expressin mine
@nara94 no worries.....i can use any tips i can get.....i hate getting separated from my bike on the downhills. the skull takes longer to heal when you're 51, that's for sure!
@canadianroot yeah i supose age is a big factor too on how u aproact things in the sport, see im 16 and i race, so i guse i my goal is to be fastest on track, thats what i like, the adrenolin i supose is higher when im goin fast but im up for a slow run if im going with slower people :)... no hard feelings
@nara94 believe it or not, it doesn't feel like a factor. i ride about 100-150 miles a week, and everything except serious drops are a piece of cake. it's just the fear of doing serious declines.....not the ability....just the fear. once you go over the bars and crack your ribs, everything else seems tame. i just get a bit antsy when it's too steep. i guess i've always been a pussy....even when i was sixteen! a flight of stairs is less scary than ruts and rocks and roots on a steep decline.
@canadianroot i see what you mean, like i had problems letting go of the breaks in the rock guardens for like a year!, i have had my share of injuries, cracked knee cap (fort william), rached cheek bone, ribs, briken ribs, partly dislocated shoulder, dislocated fingers, broken fingers and nuckels, spiked pedals rippin up my legs haha fun times :P
@nara94 I get your point....going too slow is the kiss of death. The bike needs forward motion to roll over stuff, and if you're too slow, it just drops nose first, and over you go. My two cracked ribs incidents pale in comparison to your bag of bones! Take it easy, dude, you won't be 16 forever!
@canadianroot also, tips, well how i find them, well yes go low and back, but just back enough so u can fly off the drop and ur ront wheel wont drop, but if u seriously need to break i'd just use the back, like if u get spooked its better to just lock up the back than to pull the front and goin over ur bars
@nara94 The whole point is to ride how the fuck you like mate!
He's not "Downhill racing" he's just riding down a hill...like what happens when the ground in front of you is lower than the ground behind you...know what I mean...?

apart a triple chain guard and some work on the brake screeching there isn`t much he can do. I don`t know any freerider or downhiller that goes over rough terrain completely silent.
it`s dangerous to advise people to go down such a drop dead slow. When faling over no fullface or armor is going to prevent you braking your shoulder or damaging the neck. Speed and solid air control get you down there savely. I myself had to learn that the hard way...

hey man no affence or anything but the faster you go you want to make sure that you have enough weight on your front wheel otherwise you flip and you want to keep a good body structure to giued you throgh but yoy need to lean back a lot aswel but not much check out my riding on my acount realfastdownhiller
