No kidding Re: subtext->maintext->cancelled! I think the only reason Buffy got away with it is that it was, at that point, one of the most popular shows going.

As far as Popular goes, I agree with a comment I heard once that it was the "slashiest show ever," which is one reason I was so into it. It's certainly one where I don't see femslash fantasy's being really contrary to the story as presented to us.

I don't think it's so far-fetched. The show's creator said that Sam, at least, was gay (her 'coming out' would have been a major plot point of the 3rd season, if it hadn't been cancelled (dammit), and she was kinda obsessive over Brooke, as we all know. Anyway, that's my 2 cents (currectly trading at 1.12 cents)

They don't have that kinda chemistry.(season one maybe a little) However they are very slashy material in my option too. Excellent vid. You used the cutting quite well to show the internal monologue both of them were having regarding their feelings for the other.
