India is the sewage of world, I was watching T.V the other day, and I overheard that India is the world biggest democracy, I busted out laughing- how could such garbage be possible in a country where most people and cows openly “defecate ” on the street, and over 800 million “curry dogs” are so all untouchable – how can you even be considered a democracy when 80% of your people are second class citizen. I very much doubt India is a true democracy. Voting once every four years doesn't make a democracy. Having parliamentary represention and access to your elected representative, without having to pay a bribe, is a start.

The seven lives you refer to is symbolic of the states of consciousness. Learned men have experienced higher states of consciousness and tell us our present state is lik that of a dream.
