Just enter whiterun and enter the drunken huntsmen and exit the building, a courier will show with the DB letter. Sometimes you can activate the cut scene without actually receiving the letter.

You don't exactly have to wait for the courier to bring the note. I was able to simply sleep and hadn't received a courier note, and I was still taken to the shack.

You kill the lady from the orphanage first. Then you get a letter thenn go to sleep in your bed.

Just wait about a few days, 3 at the most i believe and be sure that you're at least in a city. You can just forward time if you want and eventually a Courier will approach you and hand you a mysterious note saying "We know". Find the nearest inn and reserve a room and sleep in the bed. You'll find yourself kidnapped by Astrid and she'll tell you to kill 3 ppl. Kill them and then she'll give you the location to the DB sanctuary. From there, answer "Silence, brother" and you're in.

You have to go in through a door and come back out. For example I went to the drunken huntsman in whiterun. Then a courier will approach you and give you a cool scary letter. It will be called mysterious letter. Then you go to sleep in a bed in an inn or your house. Then you will know what to do.

@RydarGames I'd say that do any mission as possible. If you don't know where the Dark Brotherhood is, you can do miscellaneous missions and collect important items used for other missions, plus collect money and jewels as you continue.

You go to sleep then their leader kidnaps you. You have 2 choices, you kill someone for her and join them in the killings, or you kill her and wipe out the Dark Brotherhood. You need to be stealthy in your killings if you join them, or you get a bounty on you practically every assassination if you are seen. I just Fus Ro Dah her off the shelf and killed her ass, then bumped off the rest of them in their hideout. Much cheaper that way, end of story.

@RydarGames Right now..... I rate your videos 11. :D Well watching yoir videos has helped me Rydar. What I did after I got my reward was just slept in my house in Whiterun. You wake up and go on from there. DO NOT kill Astrid!!! Because at the end of the dark brotherhood, the reward is 20,000 gold coins. Its not all that much for you, but it is fairly good.

If you complete the thieves guild's quests and restore the guild back to its "original" status then you can sell your stuff to the fence down in the flaggon she has 4000 starting money and your sneak skill will improve so you can complete all the dark brotherhood contracts easily... And its fun to complete all the questlines because you get some pretty decent armor at the end

@RydarGames Just keep going about your business in skyrim. Make sure you stay in a city doing things such as side quests. A messenger will soon bring you a not that says, "we know" with the Dark Brotherhood Logo on it: A hand print. then you must sleep and a Dark Brotherhood assassin named Astrid will kidnap you. She will ask you to murder 1 of 3 people. It doesn't matter which one you kill. I would suggest using a bow or dagger for up coming assassinations.

1.A messenger will come to deliver a note to you saying ''We know'', Then you will have to sleep...After that the leader of the brotherhood willl kidnap you and thats when the quest begins.

2. Or (This doesn't always work) You can skip the messenger and just sleep, The leader of the brother hood will still kidnap you
