This is the insanity of Keynesianism. If anyone could just be given a job regardless of whether or not their employer thought they were employable, what would be the incentive to be a productive employee?

Like his father, Galbraith is a pox upon this Earth and he is on the wrong side of history.

All elecric cars & solar panels that we already have, which we can now print out like news paper. In a single day we can print out more solar panels, producing more electric than a power plant can in a year. This life is a joke why do we tolerate stupid oil money made criminals who should be in prison and ignor our scientists. America has turned into a JOKE, all we have are monopolies. The human always wnats more and now the rich can do just that, while others starve. JOKE JOKE JOKE JOKE

James K. Galbraith is great and I wish America could only see what he sees, then have Amercans (the masses) actually change things NOW with out delay.

I agree 100%. He's very spot on and has the most intelligent and logical way to revolutionize and strengthen our economy. Too many Americans have turned to the far right free-market, laissez faire capitalism which is what always seems to get us into an economic mess. I wish this guy was the key advisor to Obama. Obama picked a terrible economic team.
