  • I went down from 164lb to 125lb with herbalife, I also did lots of walking and it worked for me. T he thing about it is that you do get tired of drinking shakes all the time.

  • That's great that you said the shakes have great ingredients, minus the soy content, because the Formula 1 Sport nutritional shake powder works off casein and whey protein - not soy. This isn't to mention that 26 of America's top doctors help formulate this stuff - perhaps you should talk to them about their lack of nutritional knowledge ;-)

  • So you say, JUST eat more foods with iodine, such as potatoes, cranberries, strawberries, milk, and on and on ! I don't eat those things on a daily basis, but i can tell you, I always have time for a shake, made up in seconds, because I'm on the run.... as we all are. On the run, and guess what ppl grab on the run. Wrong choices, because the right choices are not available at time and place. I'm happy and healthy, thriving on Herbalie products, my life has changed forever for the better. I <3 HL

  • I have lost a total of 30lbs using the Herbalife shakes and have kept it off so please don't rate what you don't know. I also was ably to stop using my high blood pressure medication which I was told I would be on for the rest of my life. Herbalife is a nutrition company and one benefit of good nutrition is weight loss if needed. Herbalife products repair the villi and in turn the body does what it needs to do. I could go on and on about the different benefits but it sure would take allll nigh

  • @jamqueen80 I could have taught you to swing a kettlebell in 30 minutes. If you continued on your own you would have lost 30 lbs, increased your lean body mass, and likely been off your high blood pressure medication if your High BP was related to your weight. You would also have more energy, more strength, and more money to enjoy your new body. I could go on and on about the benefits of kettlebells, but you'll have to detox from the Herbalife Kool-Aid first. Cheers. :-)

  • @durty1calhoun I'm not going to go back and forth with you...you're entitled to your own opinion, However, for me and many others Herbalife is the best. Herbalife is the #1 meal replacement shakes globally! I have tried other things before Herbalife and none of them worked. Herbalife id far from kool-aid. Its actual nutrients you are putting into your body. DO YOUR research before you come talk to me. ENJOY :)

  • I lost 101 pounds on the Herbalife products which I started 2 years ago and through hundreds of testimonies never have I heard that it disrupts they thyroid, actually all the contrary, people have come off thyroid medication because their doctor saw in the test results that it had normalized the thyroid.   • Through some research I have found that having around 25 grams of soy protein a day can have some benefits. You take 2 Herbalife shakes a day at 9 grams of soy protein per shake (on the label) that's 18 grams, which is less than the recommended dosage, so it's not going to hurt you. The protein may affect your thyroid, but only by reducing the iodine in your body. Just eat more foods with iodine, such as potatoes, cranberries, strawberries, milk, and there many other foods out there.

  • I don't believe it is the SAME cookie cutter plan for Everyone! I have lost 24 lbs and put on 8% Lean Muscle on Herbalife Products and for others the Have Whey Protein Products also!

    You can Judge a whole company and their products on One Product form the company!! I think u need to widen your range when making judgements on a Product!!

  • Many of the studies that have concluded that soy is unhealthful have used animals as subjects. Drawing conclusions about human health from animal research can be very misleading. For example, broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables contain a compound (called indole-3 carbinol) that is an anticarcinogen in humans. But in some other species, it causes cancer.5 If we looked only at the results of the studies in those species, the FDA would no doubt ban broccoli and cabbage from grocery stores.

  • I wonder where this got her degree, because soy protein is one of the best sources of protein. Herbalife has the best doctors in the world and is the best selling nutrional company, I think I will keep taking my shake everyday.

  • 1. Herbalife shakes don't make you gain weight. If they did, they wouldn't have been around as long as they have and wouldn't be as popular. I've lost weight on it and know dozens of others who have, too.

    2. They have shake mix that is soy free.

    Do you know ANYTHING about Herbalife?

  • What a terrible review. Have you actually tried it - or are you just reading the label? ASTROGEN? you making up hormones now? E stro gen. What exact research are you basing the claims on?

    "there is no significant findings" -in this study soya only would affect people taking ARTFICIAL THYROID hormone or with low iodine.

  • i have been using herbalife because i have 4 close friends who have all lost weight using the herbalife diet, at first i felt like i was not losing weight, but a month after i started using the product, I weighed myself and I am now 12 pounds lighter. ONE MONTH. I really wanted to stop using the product at first, but now I am more motivated, the shakes taste better than any other ones i've tried, and i want to see how far i can take this. i havent had any negative effects using this product.

  • @3fthighandrising Asian countries do not use soy as a replacement for meat protein! China consumes tons of pork each year. Japan consumes tons of fish. Asian countries use soy in great moderation, & serve it in an organic and fermented state. & anytime soy is eaten, it is usually about two teaspoons, served with a myriad of healthy animal proteins and organic vegetables. & The way soy products are prepared in Asia is much different than in the states.They stone grind fresh non GMO soy beans

    The traditional Asian diet has far less meat and fish than the Western diet. In Indonesia for example, one of the main sources of protein is "tempe" which is made of soya beans. Soya features heavily because it is cheap.

  • @sonalisrabon you can get it on Amazon :) It's called Jay Robb Protein Powder. There's a whey or egg white, and I'd recommend you try the Whey one first! Thanks for asking.

  • @sonalisrabon you have to buy it from a distributor actually. As she mentioned Herbalife is an MLM company so buying it off of amazing will not guarantee quality.

  • I started taking the 5-HTP should I take the 100mg or the 200mg? WHat do you think is the best?

  • @DevlinDarling Start with 100mg. Listen to your body, and see how you feel. If your appetite isn't reduced/moods aren't lifted after about 1 week, then you could bump it up another 50/100. If you feel super groggy or if you get any type of nausea, that's a sign you're taking a little too much. Everyone is different. I take 200mg every day (I take a week off every couple months)...started taking it about six months ago and have noticed a VERY DRASTIC reduction in appetite and less "BLAH" moods!!

  • have you reviewed Beachbody's shakeology yet? I used to be a beachbody coach and I never tried that crap. I had better results by eating REAL food. Most coaches swear by that stuff but it's also a MLM company. They are more interested in signing up more coaches rather than actually helping people get in better shape. Any way..... let me know if you have ever reviewed it.

  • @HomeGymFitness Hey Alex! Well, I hate to admit it..but I'm very turned off by MLM products. I agree with you, they seem more interested in the profits than the quality. And Shakeology is another one I keep hearing about. But after some digging around (Seems like they don't really want people knowing what's in it :D)...I found the ingredients, and I think I might just have to do a video...like, today. Thanks for the idea!!

  • Typing of health products, I noticed my brand of 5-HTP, which you talked about earlier, has silica as an ingredient. Isn't that a sand; is it not harmful to ingest?
