Yes, it was redone to make it one whole bible by other people. The bible wasn't originally written by one person. God was the one who wrote the bible. He just got other people to write about he said.

This frustrates me. How can you have blind faith in a book where things have been abscured and changed in events that happened hundreds of years ago? Do you really believe one man could be the sun of a "god"? Doesn't science make sense or is it obscured by the people who killed and silenced others to keep their religion from falling apart? No, Christianity is the faith that of the people, not in one almighty being.

the bible isn't proof, the bible tells a story from several different accounts, however, there is absolutely nothing to back it up.
Science is more reliable because they've made theories and have put them to the test time and time again. Even if the theory is proved wrong once the idea is scrapped. Science has pretty numbers behind it but religion doesn't.
My opinion, science asks how, religion asks why, but to know how things happen is more important.

If 1800's is so long ago, its been many generations since the end of BC, then it moves to AD wich is what we are in today.
