Hey Nathan :) First of all, great video and great song. I've got a small question for you.

Even though i'm an avid bass player and have been playing for close to 12 years, i've never really fiddled with effects and such. Don't get to that much in metal ;) But i've been looking for the ideal distortion sound. You know, for bass breaks and such. And the sound you have when you're fingerpicking is just the one i want! Any idea on how to get it on a regular bass with active pickups?

@lowash8bc, no sir, no doubts on my half. Just something my uncle did to me when I was learning to play the guitar as a kid. He would play and when i would ask he told me pretty much the same thing I said. Helped me a lot to watch and pick by ear. No harm meant but I'm sure a lesson was learned

I dont like dubstep at all, but I really like this. No computer generated bass parts, all played on an actual bass. Love the sound you get from the hot hand and love the meaty sound you get when you're fingering normally. Good Job!
