I play the bass, and I would love to have any of these games on my PC. It would be great, because you don't really need skills to do this.

Another different thing is the fact that not everything shown in the game is as real life...

I'd have to say that for the solo, GH3 probably did a better job. It's diffiucult to chart with the limits of these music games. HMX did better on verses, IMO.

Also, GH3 probably got to watch Tom Morello actually play through the solo to get some hints.

The guitar is charted terribly. Not just the beginning, but also the solo. I expect more than this from Harmonix.

This song is charted very well, IMO. HMX made the choice not the to chart the Wah-Wah pedal parts as chords/other notes.

And, as for the scratching solo; how can you call that badly charted? There's no convention as to how stuff like that should be charted.

You see, i play guitar, so Im judging the intro based on that. Its not all one note (well it is, but with wakkas). It shudnt be charted as one note.

And the scatching doesnt seem to match the pitch of the note at times.

Again, i LOVE Harmonix, but i have to say that GH3 did a better job.

I agree that the solo doesn't match the pitches of the scratches, but I still feel the chart is appropriate for the situation.

@Thom2509 The wah wah part is an F chord, it has 3 notes in it, so GH3 charted that part much more accurate by charting it as a GYB chord instead of a single note

Effects pedal distortion!

Since this is a game and it doesn't have any effects pedal mechanic they should have done something different to represent the distortion like GH3 did, there's too big of a disconnect between what you're hearing and what you're playing.

This is one of the VERY few songs where I prefer the GH3 chart. O well, looks kinda cool on drums, so I will probaly download it.

But really Harmonix, stop making boring charts for the Rage Against The Machine DLC!

To me, it's drum chart is exactly the same as the other 2 RAtM songs in the game. The only difference being that the other two songs start with rolls, and one of the songs has the same beat on the blue pad.
