My local judge has the same rule about hats in the courtroom but when I went to court in July while wearing headscarf...he did not request for me to remove it. If anything he was very respectful. my aunt is a nun and no law can force her to remove her veil. so i dont believe in people telling muslim women to do so either. its a sick double standard , the muslims do it for modesty and there god, as we do for ours, there is nothing in the bible that says become a nun but we choose to do so , and same for our muslim sisters , it takes strength and courage. i just pray i have the strength to make that sacrifice for my god one day amen :)

If a judge cannot tell a hat from a headscarf then he should not have a law degree. My local judge has the same rule about hats in the courtroom but when I went to court in July while wearing headscarf...he did not request for me to remove it. If anything he was very respectful. It is sorry the world is full of such idiots.

my aunt is a nun and no law can force her to remove her veil. so i dont believe in people telling muslim women to do so either. its a sick double standard , the muslims do it for modesty and there god, as we do for ours, there is nothing in the bible that says become a nun but we choose to do so , and same for our muslim sisters , it takes strength and courage. i just pray i have the strength to make that sacrifice for my god one day amen :)
