This is an awesome movie! I used to think stop motion was the only way to make a figure movie but u have proved me wrong! Live action puppetry looks much better than stop motion when done with toys.

What was the hardest part on making this movie?

We shot everything in-sequence, edited in-camera. Most shots required several takes. Sometimes we accidentally taped over the end of a good shot, and would have to backtrack and reshoot!

I'ts an ACTION-FIGURE MOVIE people. We weren't being serious, just having some fun. I thought it hilarious that in 1997 they were selling toys to kids of the further adventures of Ripley and the Space Marines... based on an R rated movie in which most of the characters died. Notice the Ripley figure has no resemblance to Sigourney Weaver... and was quoted on the package saying "The only good alien is a torched alien!"

We just had to make a story around it.

Regarding Bishop... it was just a strange time for toys... Bishop was an android, but in the films he was made to look human. However the TOY was made with a post Terminator2 style so they made him LOOK like a robot, with metal protruding from flesh. They also made it so you could break him apart, but NOT like in the movie, they toned down the gore and made him "robotic" on the inside.

This gap between movie canon and toy canon is what we at Probot thrive on and have fun with.
