Fiberglass boat hull cleaning with oxalic acid

The boat we are cleaning IS fiberglass! No harm at all.

We did find it helped to wet it down with water and scrap off the really thick stuff first with a plastic putty knife or ruler, then use the oxalic acid.

Boring disclaimer: of course try it in an inconspicuous spot first. I'm not a chemist.

Impressive that oxalic cleans so well, but is it safe for the fiberglass? Won't it damage it?
