For the record, these are sperm whales that Clover has eaten and the remains have been washed up on the beach. You can see the mouth open on the whale on the left. So to clarify these dead washed up whales are the remains of Clover's lunch.

You guys know that "secret splash scene" at the end that you can barely see? That was the satellite that woke the monster up. It came from the ocean and you know attacked new york.
