I almost got hit by the cursed van. Yeah... um. Welcome to RIDING A MOTORCYCLE. If I could count the times I ALMOST got hit or in a wreck because of another car on while I was on my cruiser. best advice I ever got: you have to ride like you are invisiable, beucase to WAY TOO many drivers out there you are invisiable so just assume you are and drive accordingly.

Assigning God to all things we don't understand is an incredibly lazy method for answering tough questions. It tells us nothing at all.

If you are of the opinion that there is a God or there is no God, either way, you will find it difficult to weight evidence that you "feel" leads away from your belief structure when you see it. You are biased. Can you accept the possibility that the truth is something other than what you presume?

@Goohuman I do agree to an extent and I will explain. I was a Christian for over 20 years. Church every Sunday (which I enjoyed quite a bit) and reading the bible were commonplace for me. However, I started to question my faith when I noticed just how immoral the God of the bible is, and because of my bias it took a few years to take an honest look at the probability of there being no God.

I assure you, without knowing anything (which pretty much sums up the condition we all exist in) there are very few things you can prove logically. Everything else is extrapolation of the evidence. Morality is subjective, as is happiness. Subjectively, you "know" whatever you want. Logically, we only know that we exist. You may now toss out all presumption - everything.

You are approaching things from a philosophical standpoint and while I believe you and I could probably have an interesting conversation, it doesn't lend any credibility to believing in the God of the bible. @MrShane2369 Ironic you should phrase it that way. Logic brought me to Christ. I found it illogical to ignore the evidence before my very eyes. I found far more evidence that God was actively working in my life than any other explenation (including athiesm and random events). To deny the evidence would have been illogical.

Heh, the same thing almost happened to me the first day I got my bike and started riding. I was in the left turn lane riding up behind a car, and a work van pulls left and almost hits me, then he honks at me as if I did something wrong!
