Here's an analogy: Think of these SSDs as rechargeable batteries - With life cycles. The more you use them, the faster they degrade. Daily tasks such as cut, copy & paste use up these life cycles.
However by using TRIM, these life cycles can be restored, giving the storage device back it's performance.
Here's the twist, TRIM doesn't support the Raid 0 configuration & this laptop uses it. So you're basically sacrificing unrecoverable lifespan for performance, on monthly basis.
sony is becoming so advanced other companies really can NOT comapre!! My friend does photography he uses this laptop with 2 23" 1920x1080 monitors giving him 5760x1080!! He also simultaneously watches a blue-ray movie on one of the monitors almost all the time.. this laptop is too fast for other companies and Sony should go further and redo the x when technology will become more advanced reducing the X to 1/3", that would be AWESOME!!!
Does this laptop come with 3.0 USB ports???

@carlonchox911 I'm thinking of custom ordering with the cheapest HDD so I can replace it with an intel SSD w/ TRIM
