@Jessicalien10 Medical billing is the submission of the bill to the payer source and people who do that job only require training. HIM is a profession and requires education beyond a high school diploma. HIM professionals create the data that is placed on the medical bill.
what is Coder I Coder II or Coder III? level? but please explain more..BTW i am going to become HIM and so i am really appreciate for your video, it really explain the career really clearly.
I will be taking this two years Associate online, it wont be on campus so i dont know how hard it's gonna get, I'm kinda nervous =/
I really APPERICATE, your videos about rhit, rhia, and coding. It really helped me realize what i wanted to pursue a career in. I am so exicted!! Thanks
Great explanation! I think you should teach HIT courses at college!!
BTW...are you doing your bachelor's? I'll be graduating with my HIT degree in 2011, and started looking around for universities that do 2+2. Let's see. Any suggestions?
I am getting my B.S. in Health Information & Informatics Management from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Basically it's Ole Miss's teaching hospital. Thanks for the teacher comment...I would love to teach in an HIT program. I'm just waiting for a position to open w/ one the local schools.
I am an inpatient coder. I actually have everything to be a coder III except the CCS. My hospital is having a CCS prep course from April to May and I'm enrolled in that and will sit for the CCS in June. Congrats on the CCA!
Great video! Thanks for the information, it makes a lot more sense now. Would you mind doing a video on other/different job titles for people with the RHIT credential? That would be sooo helpful! Thanks again! Your glasses are really cute by the way!
can i ask, what is the difference between HIM and medical billing?

You explained coding very well! I am also a Coder II, I just sat for and pass the CCA. Are you an inpatient or outpatient coder?
