  • although nothing, really nothing can beat the performance of this song at slane castle 2001! that is the most awesome U2 show i have ever seen!

  • @elisdewaard1 U2 Go Home is the best DVD!

  • This song is so absolutely mindblowing and awesome that one doesn't mind if there's no flash at 0:54 or if the audio quality is pretty much crap... This song is so great and incredible that it can turn the hell into heaven, this song can change the world.

    Long Live Streets.

  • why did the crowd boo at the argentina shout from bono? was it a soccer thing or a political thing or something else? just wondering.

  • @Sharm127 That wasn't a boo, it was just the biggest roar you ever heard.

  • @Sharm127 To my knowledge, it's a big soccer rivalry and cultural pride rivalry, not intensely political.

MAJOR visual editing goof: 0:54 that's the Argentinian flag (presumably visual footage taken from a concert in Argentina), but the audio is from Brazil, who has just booed Argentina 5 seconds before.

  • Why did the crowd boo at the Argentina shout in the beginning? Was it a soccer thing or a political thing or something else? Just wondering..

  • only the irish crowd can match South america! I`ve seen U2 twice at home in Ireland, so now would love to see them, just once, in south america. Dont know why they keep releasing DVD`s of US gigs, the Rose bowl the other night was like a library in comparison to this.

  • Agree, I was disappointed in the Rose Bowl show. The Slane Castle crowd is awesome as is the show...the Angel of Harlem glich is so cool in showing how they get along so well.

  • CLAYTON ROCKS ,MAN!! Very underestimated in this band, probably because everyone else is so good, but he is a great bass player and so goddamn cool looking!!!!!!!!!!

  • ceomeye I think the music is Universal

no matter what if the music is good I think is welcome.

    Are good and bad everywhere.

  • i'm there! At the 1:09 mark

  • U2 is the best live band ever.

Maybe even the best studio band after the Beatles as well.

    U2 = AMAZING

  • @elvisatemydonuts

yeah I think there about that succesful yes, but in the beatles time there were not so much bands and the rock and rock 'n roll was new so they almost had no choice:P

But I agree they both were/are amazing!

  • Seus cavalos!! Buenos Aires não é no Brasil!!!

  • is this cumin out on dvd?it has to

  • Bono kisses Adam... awesome

  • U2 3D is one of the most extraordinary things that I have ever seen.

Where The Streets Have No Name is the best live song ever.

Respect to U2 and great and passionate South American audience.

  • It was a masterpiece from start to finish, but I was rather surprised that my favorite segment of the whole film ended up being the brilliantly edited and performed "Love and Peace or Else". The edits during the part where Bono put on the headband and started banging on the drum was like something out of Bob Fosse's "All That Jazz".

I just wish there was a way for them to do a high definition video release (with 3d glasses included), its rather sad that I wont ever be able to see it again.

  • This Concert is in Argentina, Buenos Aires!

    xD

  • Actully this is in Argentina..

  • it's in Brasil

  • Actually, TakeMe was right and you were wrong. The last time I checked an atlas, Buenos Aires (where U23D was filmed) IS in Argentina, not Brazil.

  • no in argentina

I hope tho see some u2 on National Stadium XD

  • Bono kissed Adam on the lips! Ha!

  • This is From Brazil... I was There, I remember every second of this song... Actualy, I can see myself by the end of the song wearing an IRELAND's soccer T-shirt

  • You saw them in Buenos Aires, Brazil?

  • Buenos Aires, Brazil?

  • Yeah this was definitely the coolest IMAX movie I've seen. It presents the U2 in just the way they are to their fans; larger than life. Ditto on the filming choice of South America, the fans are so passionate there.

  • U2lalo no te enojes. Además México ya tiene su dvd :)... thanks a lot to México, Chile, Brazil and Argentina for this film.. LatinAmerica loves U2

  • I'm in the US (Dallas) giving a huge thumbs up to the South American countries who really were electric and made this movie something very special.

  • After WOWY Bono thanks the fans and says "We will never forget this". Those fans are why they filmed the movie in SA...amazing!

  • I agree to some extent. He said the same thing in Dallas on the "Dismantle" tour but somehow it rings true when he says it here.

  • What a small world! I've seen it 2wice here in Dallas too 635&Web.. I will see it about 4 more times before its yanked. I hope, it comes out on DVD with glasses and bonus songs which would be cool!! If you went to U2 shows in Dallas you may wanna see the songs I've bootlegged edited and posted.

Until The End of The World, Bullet, In God's Country.. For now.

    AL SILVER - #1DallasU2Fan :)

  • I was in the only concert on Chile, 26/02/2006, and somehow was so cool that in fact, when he says somehting, it rings true. He even learned some "Chileanisms" to tell the ladies ;). About why we were so electric, the awnser in simple. It was the SECOND time in 26 years of career that U2 touched chilean ground. And they were just one night... the best night of my life I must say. So everybody were tuned to U2

  • i just saw this U23D and OMG it wa AMAZING!! everyone needs to go see it NOW!!! :)

  • A Killer Song

  • This was their first set in the 87 JT Tour, it was the best opening act!

  • espectacular
