For me, the problem isnt collecting the favorite characters, its getting the ones that AREN'T Luke and vader. Making a set of 40 figures isnt gonna make it easier to collect, it's gonna push collecters and players away from the game. Wizards needs to stop trying to get new people to play and be happy with the people who like the game now. Every set does not need to have a famous character in it.
hats understandable, however, when you have 8 different versions of vaders that look pretty much alike (only in different positions) thats not really being original, thats being lazy and not willing to make different sculpts of different non-hero characters.
Go onto the website and count how many of the hero characters have multiple figures of themselves.

True. But when famous and cool characters are in a set and you get a famous character then you can do things like reinact scenes.
