  • I work at the milwaukee store on 68th capital and I wish we could allow customers to express their experiences too. We have some of the funniest friendy customers visit that location, but just have to watch out for the t-bone steak and shrimp thieves, but other than that, keep on coming cause the prices are great!!

  • I've listened for three years now I know what u look like

  • Cute! + I've shopped, fed my family for years at Aldi. Good food, best prices, no problems; always lived near, a +

  • I love this video!! It is fun, McCoy you and the crew did an awesome job!!

OH... BTW, I am one of the employees here in the video, and yes I still work there, and will for a long time. Aldi treats us fair and pays very well with wonderful benifits... at least here in OK. I shop there as well and have found nothing wrong with any of the products and no, my family has not ever become ill over anything purchased there.

  • ohh, my god! nearly pissed myself, great song, will feed my ipod with this!!!!111ononeeleven

    greetz from germany

    ^^

  • haha that was made in ponca city :)

  • Ops great song ;)

  • Aldi in the uk is great !

They pay staff very well and all produce is good quality - I love Aldi :)

When I was out of work I started shopping there now I shop there all the time! great sond vid and store well done !!!!!!

  • you can not buy ANYTHING quality now. THEY did it. everything now is complete CRAP, foods and goods.

the producers of foods and goods ar not allowed to produce anything quality now because it will not be paid.

    buying cheap means buying crap.

americans are usually the opposit of socialists and they think its fine, the problem is: americans are not thinking at all !

ALDI, LIDL and other monopolits ARE THE NWO, wake up !

  • very good vid.

ALDI and LIDL are the worst exploiters in europe. fuck them !

  • ALDI was founded here in Germany. And they are famous for their low wages and for a bad Quality in Non-Food-Area. I´m not buying at ALDI or other Supliers like them.

  • But the thing i have come to understand is that someone is going to have something negative to say about any store and have some kind of complaint. whats the point of of being so harsh.

  • Over 200 former and current Store managers have filed a lawsuit against Aldi for their Unfair Labor Practices.. You don't have to believe me just read the current news...

  • I don't believe that's happened in OUR Aldi store...IF/WHEN it does, then I'll do something about it.

    AND

If you don't believe in the company and have such hatred for it...why did you work there at all?

  • The story is in the Cleveland Ohio Business News & The wall street Journal.

The workers are the best.. But they are being taken advantage of. They can't find a better paying Job than Aldis. The system is set up there to operate with so few people they demand more and more of their workers. They are trapped. They are paid good, but at a high personal price. The company spends very little on overall staffing compared to other companies. And people should know>

  • @randomaldigirl

the point is that you are a rich girl and you know not what it means to earn the money for yourself.

try to work at aldi, and then post your opinions.

  • haha rich yea right. I live paycheck to paycheck. and yes i work for Aldi I have been there for over a year now. Oh by the way I know what it means to earn the money I work for. Before i started at Aldi I had to work top jobs just to make ends meet now I just work the one and do better than working two jobs

  • All i have to say is that I love working for Aldi. It is a good company and I believe that they do take good care of their employees. The pay is good excellent benefits. Yes we do everything from being janitor, to stock-man, to cashier, to doing manager work etc... but I enjoy it. I hated working for walmart. I did the job of 7 people and got treated horrible.Pay sucked and got no help when I really needed.

  • Why dont you check out the related video "First Aldi store opens in Knoxville" and read all the customer complaints including sickness.

  • We didn't shoot this this video in Knoxville. We're in Oklahoma...no one has gotten sick from OUR Aldi.

  • google jobvent and search Aldi.. read the truth.

  • Okay ... first it's the H1N1 carts, then hormone driven chemical meat. What is it with you? I browsed jobvent and scored local stores. Out of 11, Aldi was in the top 3 to work for. The worst was Publix, followed by Ace, Aarons, Sears, Home Dep, Target, JC P, Winn Dixie, Aldi, Lowes, & Walmart. Last 3 scored about the same. I got tired of looking, but try to find a company with more than 10 reviews that scored positive. Here, every single Aldi has big hand sanitizers bought from SAMS. :)

  • First of all I have no idea why you would compare scores with rent to own companies and hardware stores??? What was your point? Secondly if you would try to focus long enough to read the stories concerning Aldi ,from actual employees, you may learn something. Thirdly, if you cant understand the cart system I'm glad I never had to check you out ,cause you seem like you would be hard to teach :-)

  • 4 food stores were scored and point was to show that regardless of the jobs, anything over 5 reviews showed neg. I don't want to focus on Aldi, I want to compare all. Your way discriminates. Cart system is easy. Put in a quarter, get a cart, grab a wipe, clean the handle, clean my hands, fill my cart, check out, put my stuff in my big bag that I carry, return the cart for my 25c. And because I wiped it, it's clean for the next person. If I have to use another cart at checkout, I wipe that.

  • You are always supposed to trade carts at the register, that was the point. You just find it very hard to think Negative of Aldi. They trade carts to be more productive and check more customers out in a small time, hence less cost lower prices. Productivity at any human cost is the key. From employees doing the work of seven people, no loyalty to food producers, and would love to see your cashiers reaction as you bathe your cart or refuse to trade and hold up their line.

  • oh and there are alot of grocers that scored higher than Aldi, but the scores are meaningless. You are too concerned about publicly defending your favorite grocery chain, owned by two former WWII German Soldier POW's That started their grocery as a way to profiteer from their war torn country and now profiteer off a bad economy in the USA by running their stores like... well ..NAZI's.. Feel free to read THOSE stories by ACTUAL people that know FIRST HAND. You don't know Discriminate !!

  • If scores are meaningless why did you bring it up? I'll stop at Aldi if I'm in the area but it's not my favorite. It's maybe #3. The reasons you give to not shop Aldi can be applied to any grocery store. First it's H1N1, slave labor, hormone chemical meat, bait & switch, and now it's Nazi's. I have a friend that works at Aldi. She says it is very hard work at times but she has excellent benefits and a good salary. Her complaint is not enough hours. Most important SHE HAS A JOB! Do you?

  • Let me explain something to you about the United States of America. You have the right to shop at Aldi, work at Aldi and even Defend Aldi when you don't know what you are talking about.. And everyone has the right to make up their own mind and weigh the facts. You can check my facts, you can google Jobvent and READ the DOZENS of stories. When a HUGE company abuses their power and treats their Employees like slaves, Americans stand up and say FOUL. The workers are great and deserve better.

  • FYI I am one of the aldi employees that is in this video. And I am still there. Special permission was granted for this video to exist and nobody got in trouble we all still work there.

  • Keep up the good work.

  • Do the simple math and you could see how insant exposure is a higher risk than a cart that sat outside for a couple hours first.

If you cant understand that there is no hope to explain their bait and switch special purchase tactics, their use of foreign produce, and god help the people that eat the hormone driven chemical soaked "fresh" meat.

  • Math? Try logic and common sense.Carry sanitary wipes with you and use them. Aldi sources what they can locally and buys their meats just like Walmart, Costco, and Sams, from big distributors, and though I rarely buy meat, just read the labels for additives, it's a USDA requirement. Gustafson Farm provides our Aldi's milk, it's the best! Aldi chocolates are great! Spiral cut Smithfield hams $1.29/lb. Produce is limited but same as other grocers.

Why do you hate them, were you fired?

  • I've also never gotten sick by any of the food from ALDI.

  • Heard from a reliable (district level) source that the Aldi personnel who allowed and participated this video to happen were reprimanded or fired. That would be unfortunate if true. Maybe someone who knows for sure can comment.

Question to Qdigitalmemories about the unfunny infectious cart system spreading swine flu and other illnesses. How are their carts any more exposed compared to other grocery store carts? We have 3 Aldi stores near us and all provide sanitary wipes for the cart handles.

  • I worked in an Aldi as a MIT.. and no sanitary wipes were provided. Futhermore customers always had to use the cart of the person in front of them. They would have to use their wipes prior to taking that cart.. the one that had been touched just moments before.

Also I can tell you that Aldi surely fired those people in the video, because filming and photos are never allowed in the store. Aldi workers need to realize that they make fantastic money, but they have no respect from their company. I

  • Where do you shop where the carts are wiped prior to your use? The Walmart greeters touch every cart before the customer . In every grocery store I know, you use carts other people have just used. Doesn't matter where you are, the cart you are using has been touched by someone else. Our Aldi offers sanitizing wipes. If yours doesn't, ask them to or carry them with you. BTW, Aldi employees in Florida make lousy wages and their employee turnover is high, including their managers.

  • "The H1N1 virus is new. Research is being conducted to better understand its characteristics. Studies have shown that flu viruses can survive on hard surfaces and can infect a person for up to 2 hours after being left on items like cafeteria tables, doorknobs, and desks. Frequent handwashing will help you reduce the chance of getting contamination from these common surfaces."

    Taken from wiki-

Normal grocery store situation- Cart is used and left outside by customer. Store brings in 2-4x a day.

  • Nope, they all still work there. We actually cleared it with ALDI corporate before we shot it. There were excited about it.

  • That makes sense. If I were them I'd welcome it as well. You just don't walk into a place and do what you did without a lot of work. Well done!

  • I work at aldi in nashville this is so funny lol, btw we offer hand sanitizer in three diffrent places in our store and disinfecting wipes at the entrance during flu season :D so u dont have to worrie about getting sick so long as u use the products provided

  • it reminds me to go to aldi right now...thanks :)

  • yo need a psychiatrist.

all aldi is doing is destroing the wages in production and trade of foods. they did it in here in europe and they will do it in america.
