balut used to be my favourite food but i just ate it with plain salt no vinegar, personally i think it tasted better without the vinegar......but then i found out what i was actually eating O_O
I'm Filipino and I can't even look at balut without getting grossed out! You are one brave man, Sergio. I still don't understand why some of my family members like it so much...it's definitely an acquired taste. Cheers to you for trying it!

I've tried this. The more I gagged. Bones, feathers, blood, guts, and I have eaten jellyfish, placenta, porcupine, frog you name it. I met my match!
