Ugh I really want this camera!!! Right now I have a minolta maxxum 650si date panorama and three lenses varying from 35-210mm. It's awesome but Sony makes good bodies and minolta made amazingly awesome lenses so the two together is like heaven... :)

I reccomend going on ebay and purchasing a few Minolta Maxxum Lenses to replace the stock lens that comes with it. You won't be dissapointed! I recently puchased a Maxxum 75mm-300mm macro lens, a 28mm-75mm macro lens, and an 80's Maxxum 3000 for only $45.00. Good Luck and have fun!!!

Cheaper packaging than the a300/350 (not very impact-resistant). They no longer include the Minolta-type rear lens cap. No lens hood. Hate that they changed the On/Off swith. Like the slide lid (not as easy to break off). The change in battery compartment location makes other battery grips impossible to use. Too many unnecessary changes from the 300 series to the 330. Don't get it

that viewfinder is an after-market add-on. It magnifies what you see in the V.F. by 1.2x. They use that add-in to get crisp manual focus when shooting macro shots. It also helps to get a full framed inage through the V.F. because the a330 has a C-MOS (cropped/not a 35mm size sensor) which means it doesn't have 100% viewfinder coverage.

Junky camera. Cheap plasticy feel, dim narrow viewfinder, poor quality screen, unsharp and unattractive images, gave me a nasty electric shock and the hand grip is uncomfortable and unsure. The Nikons feel like they are designed by a company that really understands cameras. This one feels like is came out of a marketing committee. The only good thing about the A330 is that it is cheap, and quick.

There's shop near my hometown selling the kit for 379€ :D little bit more expensive but still a good price for it i think ;-)

@juanjoex hi, there isnt much dirfrence between, the Nkon d3000 the canon eos 1000d and the sony a330, i would go for the sony Alpha330 caus its got a professional Quik auto focus bionz processor, and its got a tilting screen.

the only reason why you maybe choose the other camera,s are that you can only buy sony flashes for your camera(and expensive sigma flashes.)
