Whats with manufacturers committing such automotive blasphemy these days? Ferrari is making an awd hatchback, aston martin is making a small hatch to the likes of the fiat 500, and now this? You know how porsche got where they are today? not changing a single thing in the last half century, progress is the result of stagnation. lol

Aston Martin did small hatch just to reduce the general amount of fumes that goes out of the pipe of all Astons.

And......I'm sure we'd like Subaru to boost (turbo) their version as well as Toyota. However that may raise insurance rates......which is damn sure NOT DESIRABLE!!

Once bought in normal-aspiration form........you can leave the "Boosting" to the Tuner guys!!

Subaru should leave the RWD to Toyota and focus on the AWD turbo version which they are so brilliant at.

@EnigmaNZ1 Agreed......otherwise, where would the difference be in one buying either or......?? Toyota should kept in street-style (RWD) and Subaru should kept in rally-style (AWD)!

Plus we haven't seen a good affordable AWD street-car since the probably the Eclipse GSX Turbo!

It makes no sense for Subaru to make this car as is. Why compete with the Toyota? I doubt Subaru will make it as is. They'll either add on a turbo, AWD, or both.
