Brown has gone from using a broom to a plowing through w/ a streetsweeper when it comes to eliminating jobs in CA. 2010: businesses left CA at 4X the rate of 2009 and Q1 2011 was 20% higher than 2010. These are publicly announced moves- actual estimated moves are 5-fold.

LoL of the top 10 exodus reasons, 8 relate to unfair business environments, taxes, regulations, and laws..the other 2 are high energy costs (due to "green" initiatives) and crime/student dropout rates.

Just an FYI: the stats came from the OCRegister, Jan Norman/Joe Vranich. 4.7 moves/wk as of April 2011 vs. 3.9 moves/wk in 2010. Total of 204 in 2010 vs. 51 in 2009. Again, actual numbers are 5X greater.

Outlook continues to look bleak and this DREAM Act will only compound the problems. I'd advise moving out until CA Liberals cannibalize themselves.

All Americans should follow the steps of Californians and help immigrants gain college degrees, and one day the society will benefit from them as well. Think in a long run rather than just in a short run. The people of California are not asking; we are demanding real Dream Act, which grants citizenship to undocumented people in the entire country not just college aid, applied in every state. Especially southern states would benefit from it.
