the most stupid thing that pido jarencio did... under pressure ang dlsu, hindi alam ng mga players ang gagawin, sa other end ang inbound, then a TIMEOUT by UST! WTF?!?! hinayaan lang ng UST na makapagrecompose ang dlsu, mabawasan ung sarili nilang momentum, at makaisip ng play.. Hindi rin nila naisip na pati ung energy ng players nila na dumepensa, mababawasan dahil sa timeout na yun! i will not wonder if jarencio is out of the program next season.

Bakit kailangan pa ng UST na sagipin sila ng UAAP from themselves?

Sa UAAP, and rule, after the basket in the final minute, deadball yun. Hindi naman strict FIBA ang UAAP, they have their own ground rules also.

They don't use a trapezoid lane for one. Their policies on timeouts are another. Pati yung pag-advance ng bola ha midcourt, iba patakaran nila.

The thing is, bakit kasi tatawag ang UST ng timeout? Eh advantage na nila yun. Tapos madidismaya kasi pinayagan?

gnun po bah??? exclusive on UAAP only??? ehh..pano aasenso at mkapag-compete yung mga players ntin kng gnito ang ptakaran nla?? tuloy2x ung laro,wlang foul na itinawag,bkt magiging dead ball situation??? on my opinion,we should blame the referee's and the committee on this particular game...sna pgtuunan ng pansin ng tga.USTE ito...it's a matter of life and death ang pinaglalaban nila pra sa kanilang team...GO USTE!!!

bAsed on this post game interview with the DLSU lead assistant coach..lumalabas na ngpasalamat sila sa ginawang TIME-OUT ng USTE!!! pAno ngyari yun ref??? ball possesion ng DLSU yun with 5 sec to go...bAt ngawa pang tumawag ng TIME-OUt ng USTE??? pwd ba yun ref?? ttawag ng timeout yung klaban khit hindi sa knila ang ball possesion?? pki...explain po...tnx

ganun din naisip ko.. parang bakit pede mag TO ust eh bola ng dlsu.. pero sa uaap pag after every made basket ata pag last 1 minute na, may dead ball situation. pag ganun, kahit sino pede tumawag ng timeout. malaking pagkakamali din ni coach pido yun...

Coach Pido took that timeout para maging full court yung takbo ng La Salle. If he didn't take that, half court lang sana yun and mas madali sa La Salle ang offense.

Full court parin kasi wala nang TO ang la salle. But still, coach pido's TO made coach jack create a play! ANIMO LA SALLE!

FIBA rules allow the defensive team to call a timeout in the last 2 minutes. The referees even asked Coach Pido if he wanted a timeout and he said yes.
