This is more like star wars with all the space battles and whatnot! Star Fox 64 is one of the greatest games in my book. Though Slippy always pissed me off with his "fox get this guy off me" bull. Now I think it's funny.

Area 6 is probably the best example of running the gauntlet in a video game that i've ever played. I just kinda wish you could have called for more fire support from Great Fox.

Venom II was so hard at first. It took me forever to beat Area 6, but you have to have like ALL your wingmen to survive Venom II. I swear, I usually shoot them all down on Solar to ensure that they're in full health once I reach Area 6

I beat this game again for old times sake, this is one of the harder/hardest levels for sure, but I didnt die or anything. The boss fires that damn "seizure beam" its more annoying then dangerous

For some reason I found this level terribly hard when I used ti play the game.

I did beat it, but it was very difficult.

I feel ashamed when I see a video of someone cutting through area 6 like it was made of paper :P

dude, i agree with you, area 6 was insanely hard, i only beat it ONCE, with falco and i had no wings, and when i made it to venom II, i got torn to pieces.

There's two versions in Brawl. One that sounds pretty much like this, but with better sound quality, and one that sounds more artificial, and more techno-ish.

Considering this tune was created 11 years ago (1997, in this game), and not used since, I'm pretty impressed it got into Brawl.
