God is real. He allows people to go through things to test them, sometimes really horrible things (book of Job) but ultimately he protects us and gives us better than before. The test is simply to see how devoted we are to him. In reference to the evolution part, check out some of Kent Hovind's videos. Man can disprove evolution on any level and specializes with the dinosaurs. He can do it under 3 minutes too. His offer of $250,000 to whoever can prove evolution still stands against evo support.
