Wow- I remember it was 1991 when my dad and I bought an old '52 Chevy with 92,000 miles on it for $400 from the original owner..had it sitting out near his barn just outside Lebanon for probably 20 years, and turned the engine over once in a while to keep it in running shape. He had it delivered to his home in 1951 from a dealership in Albany. After watching this, man I wish I still had that car! Great film - thanks for sharing!
I was 2 way back then! We never missed a Strawberry Parade. My goodness seein all them cars and trucks dolled up!! The town has changed a lot..Lebanon you'll always be in my heart.. Thank you for sharing this with all..Its well worth it! Maw
The women in the rose garden at the end may be Agnes Moersch and Eva Stewart. If anyone recognizes them I would appreciate hearing from them; please message me via youtube. Thanks! tsmatlock
I was born in Lebanon and was almost 3 at the time of this film. From age 6 I was always on the float for Janet's Dance Studio. What a great town in which to grow up.
I love it Juli, life was so easy and fun back in the day.....I have some old video my grandpa took of my dad and all of us. Cigs in the sleeve, old cars. .......
Great video. We are attempting to get old footage of Lebanon and still photos to put into a video that can be given to the Lebanon and State Historical society and the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce. Sure would like to use some of your footage if possibe. Tony Hayden and I are working on this project. If you have a AVI file, we would sure appreciate a copy. Of course, tou would be credited.

I grew up in Lebanon and was only 18 months old but I'm sure I'm in there somewhere. I live in Indiana now and this is a sweet memory.
