Well, I am a huge admirer of Kobe's work, but I don't understand the hate going towards him and LeBron. They're both great players, but I like Kobe's playstyle more, sooo.
kobe needs more dribbles to get his shot than mj did. this is primary difference that makes mj better than kobe. thus, kobe's game facilitates more standing by teammates than mj's game. watch any of mj's games, and you will see he rarely takes more than 3 dribbles before he shoots in half court set, so mj gets his shots more in the course of the offense, and teammates anticipate better and make cuts or crash the boards (more movement) when mj catches the ball rather than stand.

Sick!!! Ive been watching Kobe ball up is since 6th grade (1996). The day he retires will be the last time we'll see an NBA athlete who plays for the game instead of the money or fame.I was messing around with stats ( during working hours). Post Shaq era. Kobe avg 30.7 pts a game while shooting 45% and 29pts, 46% shooting in the playoffs.Whoever thinks Shaq led the lakers to a three while Kobe was a "bystander" Think again.

In all honesty Lebron might be the most phyisically gifted person to even pick up a basketball but he doesnt have the intagibles it takes to be a champion plain and simple. Thats whats separates them. And you can't really look at their career stats as indicators because of the fact kobe didnt really become a superstar until his fourth year in the league. I'm not gonna say a better passer but a more willing passer. We all know he's a better rebounder and he should be at 6'8 260lbs. In 4 consecutive NBA finals fourth quarters lebron James scored 2 points or less. He went from averaging 26 points a game to 17.
