Chan reminds me of Billie Holiday. Not the best voice you've ever heard (not saying its bad by any stretch of the imagination), but nothing EVER feels flat or lacking in genuine emotion with her. The drug/alcohol parallels are also unfortunately there. I hope she is/is getting better.

It seems she's nearly lost her voice, which gives this performance a truncated feel. I like it, but wonder if she ran off stage at the end to douse her vocal cords. It almost looked like it hurt at times to sing.
