i'm probably flying after 15 meters or so, just skimming the ground on my toes.... If i had given a little brake it would have lifted.... As for the other guy, his engine was under powered, and that was probably the last time he flew with it and the wing before buying new equiptment.
Nice take offs in nil wind. You,ll have to give me some top tips on this. I am completely self taught with motor.....no course done! Figured after 7yrs of just gliding it would,nt be so different. However, have not managed a nil wind launch with motor yet.........done a lot of sweating though!
well, a newish wing helps... lay it out in a horseshoe shape, snap the wing up - and run run run... once you get it nearly lifting, a little brake helps..I've also done my share of sweating!!
Looks like both motors are underpowered for your sizes. Unless you are at 9000 feet altitude, that's far too long of a takeoff run.
