hey i was going to get a chinchilla soon. and i was wondering where you got him, if he bites at first,and if its safe to get him from petsmart? please responde thanks
@Conker1141 I got mine from Scotland where i live but if your in the us try and find a breeder so you can get papers with the chinchilla so it wont have trouble in later life they will bite you if you annoy them but its not painful and so also nibble to see if your food and don't buy a cage with plastic also remember they need stuff to chew willows sticks ect. They eat chinchilla pellets and hay and need a water bottle not bowl.
Plastic can kill so don't have any petsmart cagesR Bad

@Conker1141 try and get a Ferret Nation best cage but you need to buy/made wooden levels. The cage comes with stairs which you shouldn't use because they can get caught and end up needing foots removed but if your live in america you can buy covers for them.
And also bedding for the ferret nation get Polar Fleece Blankets so you can cover the bottom on the cages i have 2 sets i wash them every monday and you need to take them out and shake them everyday
