Awesome video, one of my favorite bikes. They should just sell 125 in the US. No way i could handle a 600 as a beginner. Sigh, oh well will just be a little harder to get my hands on one.
@omamder5 The speed limit on Deals Gap isn't anywhere near 100kph. If I recall correctly, I think it's about 35mph in a lot of spots (look out for the fuzz).
a dry clutch is like a car...no lubrication, kinda like brakes. a wet clutch, found on most bikes, is immersed in oil. which is a good reason to use bike specific oil in a bike, and not car oil (there are exceptions).
most japanese bikes are wet clutches. bikes like Ducatis are dry.
Same bike, only with different turn signals and reflectors because of different North American lighting standards. And 13,4 horsepower is manufacturer's claim. 12 is what it actually does.
Did you have any trouble importing it to the USA? I would love to just put one in the back of my truck and drive it across the border but i think there are import laws on vehicles.
Woww nice! I have a question, this may sound stupid, but is turning a bike like that hard? I mean, to go on a sharp corner, of course you could use breaks, but how far do you lean? and is it all about leaning? or is it not that big a deal....? is this bike good for beginners?
A cbr125 is the easiest bike there is for turning - very light, and light steering effort. Cornering is all about lean angle. YES this is a good bike for beginners. Take a riding course ...
This vid shows you can still have a lot of fun on a 125 in the tight twisties. Ok it won't keep up with a properly riden big bike but its not a race track. The thing about riding a 125 is you can pin it everywhere as I found out when I swaped my ducati 900 for my mates hyosung gt125r. Yes the bike was slow as hell and there wasn't a corner I needed to brake for but 125's are easy and you can learn how to ride as demonstrated in this vid. The bonus is you can ride all day on a small amount of gas
I´m going to buy a cbr or an nsr too. But i still don´t know which of them i should buy, you know. The cbr is a 4-stroke bike and the nsr a 2-stroke. The nsr also looks better (in my opinion), it´s also more wide and not so thin than the cbr!
Don´t know which of them i should take.
Couldt someone of you please help me? I would be very thankfull guys!
Thx
And one more question ^^: Where did you take these video? In Canada, Sweden?
Deals Gap crosses between Tennesse and North Carolina USA. As for the choice of bikes, normally one would expect the 2 strokes to be faster, but they stink, use more fuel, and are less reliable. Your choice (if you have it). The CBR is the only bike in its class in Canada. No two strokes because of emission regulations.
Where is this, the road looks fun?

does anybody know the speed limit there? I think the 125 can barely even exceed it, if the limit is 100 kph.
omamder5 2 years ago
I think it's 35 mph through there.

Yeah, I got mixed up with Honda NSR. They came with dry clutch somehow, I don't know if NSR125 comes with dry clutch tho, but 250cc models did.
