It is most definitely true that heirloom variety seeds have more nutrition in the finished yield, than modernized seed. Many people forget that the seeds themselves need to come from the healthiest possible source, preferably open-pollinated, or heirloom seed, before even starting the process of growing an organic plant that has more nutrition.

Thanks for the nice talk! I have a been an organic farmer for 11 years now. Organic wheat in Montana has higher Selenium levels than non organic wheat does too!
