The Kitara can never replace a guitar nor a synth. I'm playing guitar for 15 years now and i think the Kitara is a really awesome instrument. 959US-$ are a fair price. Some guitars and synths are more expensive.

How silly, it's not as if this will replace the guitar. It'll innovate it, like how when the electric guitar was new, it didn't replace acoustic and classical guitars at all, it simply expanded the musical possibilities, genres, and styles.
